Hmm maybe you could mention the Enlightenment (it's 1 am, I can't think of much right now)? You could discuss how the rejection of Aristotelian philosophy destabilized the church and how the church responded with the Inquisition. The Enlightenment is more intellectual, but it definitely impacted Europe socially.

Actually the Roman Inquisition was in response to the Protestant Reformation during the 16th century.

The Enlightenment ties in with the French Rev, which I will use in my essay.

how do u guys manage to write 3 essays 40 minute each while getting a 5?

Well for me, actually writing the eassy is easy because we do them in class all the time (we have a 50 minute class). My problem is I have so much trouble remembering specific details. I know trends but I can't back them up with evidence. Like the question llpitch gave us. I would have absolutely NO idea how to begin writing that essay on my own but if you gave me what to wirte about I could turn it into a kick butt essay.

My advice would be to read over each essay prompt before you begin writing. I'd say do the DBQ first. It's by far the easiest and will ease you into the writing. Then its between the comparing and the change and continuity. I'd say do the one you know most about next. It's better to write on the one you know more about than waste time trying to come up with info on the other one. Then move on to the last one. Think back. BS it if you need to. They aren't looking for perfection. There's no checklist of: they mentioned this and that but not this. Write about what you know. Connect it to other ideas. Use big words (it works! It can be the deciding factor for your grade too. If you're beween a 4 and a 5 you wrote well, you are more likely to get a 5) Don't be nervous...watch the clock but don't WATCH the clock if that makes any sense. I guess what I mean is don't look at the clock every 2 minutes but keep an eye on your time. AND TAKE THE TIME TO PLAN! Your essay will be much better that way.

Does anyone have links to released tests?

You can see the FRQs on the collegeboard website but as for MC, I don't have any. Sorry.

I've been reading the Princeton Review covering all world history, and it's going pretty well. 100 pages left, hoping to cover in about 3 hours. Then some multiple choice and essay review! :D

^Haha, that's what I've been doing too. :) And reviewing Kaplan's essay advice since it feels more detailed than PR's. But yeah...I'm reading about a hundred pages of Princeton Review tonight as well. Fun! :D

yeah im reading PR..its 7:30 right now, what should i do? study essays? when sould i go to bed, my test is tomorrow at 7:30 am...omg 12 hours away.....

anyone already take the AP test?

Yup. It hurt my wrist SO MUCH! I ended up being ten minutes behind on every essay and did my compare and contrast in 25 minutes. Talk about stress... I kind of had to bs my way through it though. Did anyone else find the multiple choice portion to be kind of easy?

Yea MC was very easy.
