***Official AP World History Thread 2014-2015***

Guys I think I messed up like the essays were easy (like a 4 on every one maybe) and the mc just ruined me lol I either got a 2 or a 4 :frowning:

@airfire1928 Why 2 or 4? Then i would get 1 or 5ā€¦

It wasnā€™t too bad for me. My AP teacher didnā€™t teach everything and had to quit due to health, so our new teacher tried to catch us up but we didnā€™t get done with everything. The multiple choice really killed my score, but I feel I wrote an awesome CCOT and DBQ and an okay Compare and Contrast. I think Iā€™ll probably get a 3 possibly 4.

@jackiewang0703 because I think I didnā€™t do so good on mc idk maybe Iā€™m being paranoid I donā€™t remember anything now everything was such a blur

sniff sniffā€¦

So lucky to all of you who found it easyā€¦ I for one found the CCOT and the other essay so hardā€¦ Hope my awesome DBQ lifts my scoreā€¦

Iā€™m really scared thoughā€¦ if everyoneā€™s saying itā€™s easy, then where am I on the scale?

I had two teachers this year, but both of them were great so I was fine, one of them actually grades ap tests so she had good insight.

So is this curve gonna be the historical curve of AP world history? lmao scared right now

donā€™t be scared guys!! would you rather it been super hard ?!?!

I keep beating myself up over the mc I feel like did so bad

I thought it was easy, like everyone else. Itā€™s pretty amazingā€“my teacher did basically nothing all year, so I was terrified that I wouldnā€™t know anything. I donā€™t think I ever wrote a full essay at any point during the class! But I consider essay-writing for these sort of things one of my strengths, and I crammed pretty hard during this past week, including looking at the essay rubrics and such, so I feel like it all worked out.

Curious, though. How much did everyone write for the essays, and how long did they take? I wrote about nine pages total, and had maybe twenty minutes left in the writing period when I finished (I looked over my essays, though I didnā€™t really editā€“they were in pen anyway), but I was the last one to finish that part of the test by a long margin. Is that normal???

The multiple choice was near impossible! When I take the 2013 exam (mock exam that my teacher gave me), I got a 57/70 and the ones I did answer right I knew without guessing (I know I could have scored higher)! It was like every question except the quotes that I did not know the answer of. EHHHH! Everyone in my class is expecting me to get a 5, but Iā€™m not sure now! Itā€™s just going to be so embarrassing next year if I donā€™t get a five because I have over 100% in AP World and the highest grade in the whole school for that class (not of 200)! Praying for a five (cause everyone is going to say and bug me for days and weeks if they get a 5 and I donā€™t because that happened in 4 tests where I didnā€™t set the curve)! NEED NEED NEED a five! Hopefully the multiple choice did not screw me over.

By the way the essays were super easy! The DBQ was so easy to analyze and getafive.com basically predicted the compare and contrast and the ccot! Everything they talked about was only about once. The essay topics they talked about three times each stressing the topic! I wonder if they had the exam beforehand, because I found it fishy that they repeated a topic (which was the ccot) maybe around four times! In addition, the compare and contrast essay they kept talking about throughout the period!

Please, please, please, multiple choice, please donā€™t screw me over!

I thought I did OK, though I canā€™t say for sure. I thought the DBQ was pretty easy, though Iā€™m not sure I had enough evidence on the other two.

Yeah, the essay topics were super easy @deltea and everyone at my school said it was easy! I heard last yearā€™s everyone said it was hard. But this year, I didnā€™t hear a single person say the essay problems were hard, they all thought it was easy! I made a mistake, I was told to write big so that the ap readers can read it easier and I ran out of room! Lesson learned, donā€™t write big!

A lot of kids are saying this test was easy! Great:(, now the curve is going to be high and I did not be well on the multiple choice :((sniff, sniff). AHHHH! I need a five so badly! July 9th, come quicker!

@deltea I wrote 4 and a half pages for the DBQ, and 3 pages for the COT and 3 pages for the COMP. I finished with 10 minutes left. My hand hurt after writing all that. I tested in the gym with about 180 other people and there were people writing up to the bell. I wrote ā€œthanks for readingā€ at the end of my COMP but then I crossed it out. Haha.

I am so lucky that I just happened to be in a year with an easy test. I did really well on the COT and COMP, not so much on the DBQ. Iā€™m really bad at those for some reason even though I follow the format. But Iā€™ll most likely get a 5.

@ypmagic Everyone in my class said it was easy tooā€¦

@ypmagic
I wasnā€™t even trying to make mine long, itā€™s just that the format the teacher teaches us makes it really long. We do a POV and analysis for every document and 3 additional documents. I only did two, though.

Iā€™m not sure how I did, I probably got a 4. Learning about the French Revolution and the Renaissance were really interesting to me, though, and since I like history a lot I sort of want to self-study AP Euro next year.

My DBQ was probably like 5 and a half pages long I think? It was longā€¦ I write really small too. My Compare and Contrast and CCOT were both 2 and a half pages. And then I finished with 10 minutes remaining
