***Official AP World History Thread 2014-2015***

I took the test. I thought the multiple choice was pretty easy, I maybe got a 60/70. The dbq for me was also pretty good. The ccot and compare and contrast tripped me up because my teacher never had us do practice essay. All we learned was how to write them but didn’t practice so I almost ran out of time. I think I got a 4 if the curve is high, and a 5 if the curve is low.

Does anyone know the date of when the scores will be available?

@BabolatV I believe it is July 9 or smthing

Cant discuss MC I think

@BabolatV. It depends on what region you are in. Check this website…https://apscore.collegeboard.org/scores

todays test was actually pretty easy compared to some of the other tests I’ve taken in class. MC was pretty easy and
i knew all the essay topics. All of my essay were about 3 pges. i think i will do well. surprisingly easier than i thought it would be, especially CCOT

i was glad that the dbq was period 6 because we didn’t get through all the material in class and i woul have sucked at a CCOT or C/C on that. Glad CCOT was on revolutions bc those are really easy and mc asnt to bad considering.

the whole country thought it was easy so the curve won’t be high at all am i the only one who thought the mc was harder than usual

I felt the test was sort of hard. A lot of the students in my school thought it was really easy, but the MC was a bit confusing. Like I could usually narrow it down to two answers, but it was hard to pick the right one from there.

I wrote 5 pages for the DBQ and 4 and a half pages for each of the other 2 essays. This test was really not that bad and I’m scared to say that. Most people thought it was easy including me so the curve isn’t going to be really generous. I really hope I get a 5.

even if you studied it didnt help on the mc everything was so debatable im so pissed

The multiple choice was okay; I probably got around 55/70. Hopefully my score will not suffer from an expected total essay grade of 18/27. I NEED A FIVE!

My DBQ was 5 or so pages long. My CCOT 3 pages, and my Comparison essay 3 pages also I believe. I actually ran out of time for my DBQ so I had to go back to it after the CCOT and the Comparisons. I ended up writing right to the bell and had to rush my final additional document sentence. Here’s hoping for the best!

I feel like I did fairly well on the m/c. Like a lot of people in this thread I ended up always narrowing it down to 2 answers, but 9 times out of 10 both answers were correct but one came before or after the time period the question specified. Anyways I’m just glad its over.

The prompts were eeeaaasyyyyy monneyyyyy. I wrote 8 pages on the DBQ, 5 pages on the COT, and 5 pages on the CO/CON. I even had to ask the proctor for more paper, haha…

I used a page and a half for the CC and CCOT and two pages for the DBQ. I thought I addressed everything I needed in my essays, so it kind of worries me that they are pretty short compared to everyone else.

Anyway, the test was overall easy. I don’t think I missed more than 7 on the MC and the essays were fairly easy as well.

xDeeLo, my DBQ was also short in comparison to others on this website. I wrote 3 pages for the DBQ, 2 pages for the comparison, and 3 pages for the comparison essay. In all three essays, I made sure that I had ample amounts of evidence while including the required parts for each essay. I think in the end, it is not the length of the essay, but rather the quality of the essay and how well it integrates aspects listed on the rubric.

generally everyone around me said the test was easy as well, I also don’t think the curve will be forgiving this year.

Well, some people write bigger, and some writer smaller. I’ve handwritten like 831749174128 essays, so I’m used to nonstop writing. Like… I don’t even need to plan my essays anymore. It just comes to me, haha! My teacher is an AP grader, and while quality is important, they don’t really dock you off for “wrong information.” I pretty much did each rubric component twice–if not more than twice–to make sure I got all the points.

Yeah, I think I hit all of the rubric points in each essay, but we’ll see I guess.

I feel like by the time I got to the compare and contrast I was burnt and probably lacked a lot of solid evidence.
