<p>Just cause I have decent sat scores, ill say ill be disappointed with anything below a 34…so ill probably be disappointed. But I don’t think I’m retaking no matter what.</p>

<p>Exactly the same mikeyy. This is my only time taking the ACT… 34 would match my SAT score, so I would be happy with 35 and ecstatic with 36</p>

<p>@derek: I’m retaking the ACT if I get anything under a 36 :P. I want to take it as many times as I can. But my goal for this test is a 33 so I’ll be in range for Auburn’s presidential scholarship. Last time I got a 31, which was my first time.</p>

<p>Why does the popularity of the ACT vary with different parts of the country? Living in Michigan, the ACT was the only thing kids took because it was administered by our high school, but in California most everyone prepares for the SAT with prep classes and such.</p>

<p>@Rocknpiano I live in michigan too and most of my friends who take ACT are planning to go in-state. i asked them and most of them think you take the SAT if you want to go out of state… plus ACT’s easier for most kids, i think :)</p>
