So there’s no discussion topic for this, quite surprised. Anyways, post your stats, situation, insights, or anything regarding your BC Fall 2014 Transfer Application. Would be happy to hear about all experiences. Also, I strongly recommend you guys to post stats upon your decisions if you do not plan to share it now. Thank you and good luck to you all!

I am 16 years old, second year freshman, applying to csom, university gpa (not community college) :3.68, act composite 26, applying for transfer to fall 2014. chances anyone please. good or bad, i’ll accept it.

i have taken 16 credit (fall 2013), and now i am taking 18 credits(spring 2014). I have submitted my mid-term grades and all my midterm grades are A’s. Also both of my parents are also an alumni. THank you for your response @cctransfer212

31 ACT, 3.6 college GPA, 3.8 high school GPA, applied to CAS for fall 2014, good involvement/extra curriculars in high school and in college. Anyone with more knowledge of the transfer admission process have any insight for me?

@cctransfer212 :
If you read through the BC decision threads on this forum, you’ll see discussions of legacy applicants with furious parents because the money they gave to BC all these years didn’t help get their S/D accepted.

@jpm50 why do you think when your parents is an alumni, it would help much? ecause transferring to csom, what i heard is that there have to be someone transferring out of the school, and then we can enter.

Some earlier comments led readers to believe that being legacy at BC would help them get admitted. I was simply trying to clarify that, at BC, it doesn’t help much.
