I called Boston College to check on my withdrawal and refund.

The guy told me that Boston College wasn't in session for a few days or something. He then told me that my refund should arrive in either a few days or one week.

That may have affected the waitlist as well.

i still haven't heard anything either. i called today. they said the majority of decisions were sent out last week. the small amount left still being considered will hear in about a week (they were really vague about when).

well i'm not sure i will even be able to go to BC because of financial reasons. i'm on full scholarship right now at Providence College. i got into middlebury, conn college, trinity honors, uconn honors, PC honors, lehigh honors, stonehill honors.

wow danni...hard to believe BC waitlisted you...perhaps your stats were so stellar that to BC they thought they were nothing more than a safety.. PC is a good college and a full scholarship is very hard to turn down. My DD recieved lesser merit $$ ( $7K to 8.5K) from 3 smaller LAC's and if they upped the ante to their max of 12K to 13.5K, I think she would have gone there..No matter what you are in an enviable position

attention to anyone who has not received their letter yet:

my parents just informed me i got a letter a couple WEEKS ago that they decided not to inform me about... so YEAH. be sure your parents aren't hording your letter or something because i highly doubt it would've taken this long to reach you! :(

Carnegie - Congratulations - you really hung in there.
Where are you giving up a spot? - maybe I can go there! (I finally got the reject from BC - oh well)
