@BatWonder77 I feel you bro, got rejected by Northwestern, Penn, Columbia, and Chicago. I hate to say that but i’m might ended up staying at USC for the rest of my undergrad. Didn’t realize I’d be feeling down like this.
So do people think we will get admissions today? According to lat year, they got it on the Friday at about 8am (EST) but obviously we haven’t got them yet?? So maybe Monday?
According to last year’s thread, the first person who reported back was after 12pm. Where does 8am come from
I thought they posted at 12pm my time? Sorry my mistake!
So potentially 20 minutes until decisions are released. Hype?
Wait where are you all getting all this and why do people think it’s going to be today? Didn’t people receive decisions on 5/14, which will more likely mean next Friday? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1746562-official-fall-2015-brown-transfer-thread-p14.html ?
@uniquesnowflake There’s evidence suggesting it could be either today or next Friday. Based purely on the date that decisions were released last year (and in previous years), one could conclude that it will be released next Friday. However, according to last years thread, the appearance of the portal changed a couple of days before decisions were released. Since the appearance of the portal changed recently, one could also conclude that the decisions are going to be released sooner than usual.
Anyone called?
Last year the decision came out near 1pm because now is their lunch break time.
its probably coming out next friday, there’s no point in calling.
@matthewjohnlim True that, it’s not out of the question at all. Thanks for the clarification! Although I would say too that 2014/2013 decisions were also 5/14 and 5/13 - obviously it’s all speculation on our part at this point!
Best of luck to everyone here!!! The end is in sight
Can anyone see their Brown email here? I can’t (but saw in older threads that it was an indication) https://myaccount.brown.edu/profile
@epancotti I can’t see my email either
@epancotti - do you mean if we can see our personal email we used on our application? I can see mine. What is that an indication of?
@samfeldt No, your Brown email.
@epancotti I only can see my own email.
I, too, can only see my personal email. Guess we’re all doomed, guys.
I don’t actually think it’s an indicator this year. Especially because applicants in previous years couldn’t activate their account until they were accepted, and we did that when we applied!
Not applying but I guess the results for you guys will be available next Thursday.
