They rejected a kid at my school 2 years ago who got a 2390 on his SAT
He posted a facebook status saying “F Cal Poly” I just did the same. </p>
<p>People say it is because they think my school just has a bunch of hippies.
I’d rather be a hippie than a guy paid dirt to read SAT scores and grade trends to decide someone’s potential. </p>
<p>Berkeley loves my school, so hopefully I will be getting into Berkeley.</p>
<p>I just got rejected for computer engineering, with a 3.09 gpa, who would have thought :(.
At least I know for sure I’m going to cal poly pomona now. Haha I’m surprised I even got accepted there.</p>

<p>i got accepted to cal poly 2010. went to fall qtr… i was soo excited! thought it was the perfect college for me! the school ended up sucking MAJOR d. I hated it. cal poly sucks. dont go there lol. feel happy that ur going somewhere else now instead of wasting your time there like me and having to go to CC after working hard to go to cal poly.</p>
<p>for those accepted, congrats! its not the best place for lots of people (me)… and if you DO choose to go there, make sure to visit atleast 2-3 times and make sure the school is really the right place for you</p>
<p>My theory is that mostly SoCal kids were rejected. I know someone who got into UMich for mech e, and was rejected from SLO today.</p>
<p>Sadly I was rejected 3.6 GPA, 31 ACT, for aerospace.</p>

<p>What are you basing that on, just a hunch? If you used “percentage majority” rather than the word “mostly”, I wouldn’t have questioned it.</p>
