Just about I am praying that we hear back by the 5th

I have checked like 7 times today!! This is getting out of hand :((

I donāt think the decisions will come out until Thursday or Friday. I believe last year was on Thursday, but some previous years have been on Wednesday and Friday too. I just really hope itāll be sometime this week, hoping for Thursday at least.

@Ohhibye Yes, I really hope they come out before the weekend. I signed up for the SAT in case I donāt get in early and I just want to know for peace of mind!!

I freak out every time I see that I have more than 3 notifications on CC, it makes me think people are posting their admission decisions!!!

how many people here applied to graphic communication ? I know one other person did, but anyone else?

Currently trying not to have a total panic attack while waiting to hear back this week

I applied ED to BMED :)

SAT 1370 (M - 700, R - 670)
ACT 32
CSU GPA 4.3
(unweighted GPA 4.0)
8 AP + 1 college physics course
21+ hours EC
in-state

So nervous! Today, I logged into my College Board SAT account and it said they had zero recipients for my scores even though they were sent in October! Then I looked at the ACT Scores Manager (I sent my ACT scores at same time) on CSU Mentor and nothing showed up! I am worried that Cal Poly wonāt consider me because they have not received my official score reports. Is this normal or should I be worried? Should I email/call Cal Poly? Has this happened with anyone else?

But really, like I have to keep telling myself to take deep breaths!!! My stress level is too damn high!!!

@polybio Something similar happened to me! I logged on to my SAT and it wouldnāt show that I sent my scores to poly. I had to resend them 4 times before they showed up, and even then I was not confident that they got to cal poly in time. Maybe call the school and find out?

Iām too nervous to check my admission status so I keep coming on here to see if anyoneās posted their results. Such a nerve-wracking week.

After researching everything possible about the school since mid december previous years heard back on the 5th, which is this friday. I also looked up a lot about dorms and did some calculating and found that North Mountain rooms have a LOT more floor space. I know it has a reputation of being anti-social, but that can be easily fixed if more social kids live there. PLUS we would have more room to be social.

Does anyone know at around what time will they post it. Is it early AM on the day or is it throughout the day like in the afternoon. So I know whether itāll be there right when I wake up or not so I donāt have to keep checking every 10 seconds during the day haha.

If you look under last years ED thread, people started to post about their results around noon . I also belief I read somewhere on these forums that they go up in waves by major starting from around 11am through about 2pm.

Iām going to be freaking out on Friday. Well who am I kidding, Iām already freaking out :((

@Ohhibye I heard around 5 Pm but that hasnāt stopped me from checking 5 times a day

Anyone know if it is possible that decisions come out over a weekend?

i think the admission people take the weekends off, so I donāt think they would post then

assss

Hi everyone, Iām back again! I just wanted to make a quick post about dorms.
-Sierra Madre/Yosemite are by far the most social. This may seem like a good thing now, however, a lot of my friends are switching out of the towers because it is too noisy and they canāt study. This might be something to consider.
-The red bricks are not as bad as the towers noise wise but they definitely arenāt quiet and there is very little personal space. They are very social and it is easy to get help when you need to study though.
-North Mountain is not anti-social and I always see people out on the lawns hanging out. The room size is a lot bigger but Iām pretty sure all of them are triples now. The bathrooms arenāt the best but they are better than the red bricks.
-Cerro Vista is definitely not as anti-social as people make it seem. If you stay in your room and donāt go out of your way to meet your neighbors, it might be anti-social. I got placed in Cerro and I was really scared I wasnāt going to make any friends. It has honestly been the best situation for me. I have a kitchen so I donāt have to worry about bad campus food and the bathrooms are a lot nicer. Iāve met a ton of friends here as well. The walk is not nearly as bad as people make it seem.
-Poly Canyon is by far the least social and farthest away. I personally would not recommend living here just because of the inconvenience of the distance to campus.

I hope this post helped at least a little bit! Good luck!

How do we know if Cal Poly received our updated SAT scores? On college board, it says that they sent my scores on October 26th, which is before the deadline for ED. I also filled out the application change on the Cal Poly website, so I believe that I have done everything I need to do to make sure my scores are updated, but for peace of mind, I need a confirmation that they got it. I emailed them, but is there another way to view my app?
