@SoCalGirl97 You too! Hopefully i get to see you all there

http://www.calpolyconferences.org/accommodations/northmountain.asp describes some of the rooms. Googling “Cal Poly North mountain double” or any other room will result in some of the top hits being pdf files that give the dimensions of the rooms and everything in them as well as an isometric and birdseye view. It helped me I hope it helps you guys. I think I am going for north mountain because i think the 65ft of extra floor space outweights other doors being more social. Plus I am rushing anyways

Hey can somebody chance me, I’m post number 78, thanks in advance

@Anonstudent15 What exactly did you see that made you think the portal was reopened? It still has the critical system status thing.

@ArsenalFan69 - From last year…

"Major: Architectural Engineering
SAT: 1330 (670 Math + 660 Critical Reading)
GPA: 3.96

Only two APs completed and two currently. Eng Comp and Calc AB junior year and Eng Lit and Calc BC this year."

This was the only one I found. Good luck!

Yeah it still says that, but if you log in everything works normally and is reopened. The portal was only down for about an hour.

oh my gosh im freaking out, I went over my app again earlier today and I noticed a pretty decent mistake – for the question about club activities, both me and a friend who was doing application with me thought it said hours in a year so we put 21+. I’m not sure how we made that mistake but I do about 3 hours a week, I send an email but if I get accepted will it be redacted? I think my stats are pretty decent for the major I applied to (4.17 GPA/1400 SAT for computer science) but I’m worried that even if I would have been accepted with correct info, it’ll be redacted anyway for “lying on the application” or something. has anyone had something like this happen?

@emptyfridge don’t worry man. They have no way of confirming it anyways. A human never even sees your app so there is no room for “this kid could be lying” plus they don’t even ask you to specify so they would just have to ask you directly if they wanted to confirm, which they don’t. However I don’t know how that will work now that you’ve emailed them about it.

@will187651 didn’t realize they didn’t confirm it, i thought they got club information or something from the school but I hope it works out ok even though i emailed them x_x

I was really hoping I would see if I was accepted or not when I woke up… No news yet… The torture continues

Last years ED heard back the first Thursday in December starting at around 11:30am, incase anyone was wondering about time.

@emptyfridge . Don’t worry about the mistake. Literally 1000’s of applicants make the same mistake. Even if you emailed them, I am sure they aren’t concerned about it. You will be admitted today based on your GPA, test scores and classes taken. Good luck today/tomorrow!
