****official cal poly slo class of 2018 decisions****

I promised myself only one check today, no determination as of 11am…

@minicooper3 I got into Computer Engineering on February 14, 2014. I checked probably in the late afternoon. Also, I am an out of state student from WA.

On my tour last summer one of the admissions officers told us that it would be harder for out of state students because their primary goal is to educate California students. While out of state students do pay more for tuition, the school gets funding from California only for California students. Because of this she said that about 80% of their students are in state.

Some bad information here…

As far as private schools go, Embry-Riddle is actually one of the more affordable options at $31k/year tuition.

Actually, the Prescott campus is the more competitive campus with higher SAT/ACT scores and GPA.

Has anybody heard from an Agriculture major?

My son is an Agribusiness major. We haven’t heard anything. He would be the 4th generation in my family to attend Cal Poly San Luis, so I’m really hoping that they accept him.

I just saw a post on FB that a friend’s son was accepted to CP- OOS- Oregon, trying to get his major & stats for you all.

@uscjer what are his stats? and what is his specific major?

My son is - in State, ACT - 33, CSU GPA - 4.15, 7 APs, tons of ECs …

Applied for Computer Science - still no news -

Anyone out there - RD - In state for Comp Sci ?

no one has reported to have been accepted RD in state yet. maybe tomorrow!

No determination

Tomorrow hopefully!

if we’re finding out tomorrow, around what time do you think decisions will be released?

Best wishes to all, and I hope that tomorrow (Tuesday) is a day of good news for the Cali applicants. I just arrived in SLO tonight with my D, who was accepted early decision–she knew CPSLO was her first choice, even though she’s never visited! So tomorrow we’ll tour the campus; very excited. She will be a kinesiology major so hope to hear from other kinesiologians out there. Hope to meet many of you at the open house in April! Good luck!

as of 6:59 AM - instate aerospace engineering major still undecided

We in-staters are still waiting…

Instate biomed no determination :/

Nothing yet for my daughter - Recreation, Parks & Tourism major. We are in the Central Valley.

In state computer engineering. Nothing yet and the suspense is killing me. I really hope they release today

@CDSMOM that is my daughter’s major also, still nothing!! We are in the Bay Area… really long day so far!!
