<p>During my call to admissions today I did ask if they released in a particular order and she said they do, but that is up to the Data Management Team and she was not privy to the order.</p>
<p>oh! i seee. i always thought each college had its own team deciding when. that probably makes more sense…

<p>I don’t understand why Cal Poly doesn’t make the notification process less confusing, more transparent, less anxiety-ridden, etc. The entire college application process is stressful enough as it is for HS seniors.</p>
<p>@USMC0311 Yea, they traditionally have continued into the evening, ending at around 530/6. This is based off the transfer acceptances this year and the batch last year.</p>
<p>So if we see someone in our major get in, and I still have a to be determined, is that a bad sign</p>

<p>@mparker3512 Eh not really. they are done in waves, so dont fret about it. of course its only natural as we approach march…likelihood of being rejected goes up. But hey, we’ll all end up somewhere</p>
<p>@mparker, it may not be, it still could be rolling…they may do some Architecture today and some tomorrow…and more next week…as an example.</p>
<p>I’m doing business, emphasis on accounting. Doubt i’ll get in but theres something really special about this place that makes me want to hope…Theres other schools i’d be fine going to but Cal Poly just has everything I’m looking for in a beautiful location.</p>

<p>They’re sticking with their “2 weeks” timeframe. That’s what they told me at noon also.</p>
<p>@bugsy12, I just called admissions at Cal Poly again and was told that the rejection and waitlist student’s will find out down the road. She said the Data Management team is rolling out only admissions right now. But, it can take up to two weeks to get your acceptance. 51,000 applicant’s this year, with only 5,600 spots to fill.</p>
<p>Curious if they send an email confirmation along with the portal notification? </p>
<p>@TenFromLA Does this mean they will be sending out decisions slowly in order to fill that time frame with acceptances or will they be getting acceptances out quickly? Hoping for engineering tonight but it’s not looking like that will be happening. Maybe tomorrow?</p>
