****official cal poly slo class of 2018 decisions****

133 CSC in 2012 figure 5-10% more. 1346 applied
62 BMED ( is that what you mean by BME?) in 2012 again figure higher for 2014 1362 applied

In COSAM about 32% accepted and 21.5% yield in 2013 both higher than the 31.7% accept and 19.7% yield in 2012

Does anyone know how many Aerospace engineering majors get accepted each year?

@KeenOne No, you don’t have to release them if you already sent them directly. I was only posting this info because OP said the son “forgot” to send the ACT. They need the stand test to make an admit decision, so I suggested doing this because why pay again when you’re already sent to another campus. As Goldenwest mentioned, you login & simply release the score to CP.

what time do they start posting acceptances ?

AERO 2012 97 enrolled out of 1077 applications

@czs1994 Thank you for the reply. Just wondering, where did you get the info?

@czs1994
97 enrolled, but how many were accepted?

@czs1994 Thank you!

Got into electrical engineering Friday at 12:00

Sat math- 690 reading-670

does anyone know what kind of stats are needed to get into comp sci?? Starting to get nervous

GPA 3.93 UW / 4.12W SAT 1460 (CR 660 / M 800) Biology E SAT (700) Math II SAT (790) Class Rank 9 of 252

SAT = 1940/2400 (1300/1600)
Poli sci major
Most likely will not attend unless i don’t get enough financial aid from other schools

@hellogoodbye111
I was admitted into Computer Science on Friday.
Stats:
1910 SAT
30 on ACT
with 34 on math and 31 in science
4.17 gpa for CSU
4.34 W at school and 3.87 unweighted

@anzskydragon don’t give up yet, I don’t think they are even close to done sending out the acceptances. My son did not have APs in science, or math, but he got in for civil engr. I haven’t seen MEs yet. Good luck.

@TSchaser major: food sciences

@zacattack16 you would have to back into the approximate number, all I have found are number of applications for the major, the percent accepted for the college and the percent attending for the college. If we use that you could assume 400 some odd will be accepted. But that yields about a 10% yield, which is right for the college, however, BMED only has about 4.5% yield from total applications. So somewhere between 200 and 400??

@gosackings You can get absolute numbers of students attending by major in this report <a href=“IR Home - Institutional Research - Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo”>http://www.ipa.calpoly.edu/sites/ir.wcms.calpoly.edu/files/publications_reports/factbook/fbfall12.pdf</a> there are other reports that show number of applications by department. For some reason they do not have the 2013 information published yet.

I’m literally dying checking the portal like 15 times a day… I JUST WANT TO KNOW ALREADY!!! ugh :frowning:

Hopefully we see plenty more acceptances tomorrow. Best of luck, everyone!

@czs1994, thank you for taking care of us on here:). Your links have been very helpful, appreciate it!
Happy Monday to all ~
