My son also was accepted to Sac State as of today. Good news, but not a top choice… Still waiting for SLO with Poli Sci major. Good luck everyone!

@joyful1 and @gotoslo - Happy hour…I’m there! And I’m still praying it will be on move-in weekend.

Do you guys think they’re done sending out acceptances? It really concerns me that nothing went out today…

@bindra1996, there will still be more acceptances per my phone call to admissions today, actually for the next two weeks. I posted earlier in this thread. Hang in there:)

I doubt it…I have not seen one Mechanical Engineer get accepted…

@gotoslo et al, you are all silly first meeting would be in April at open house weekend and accepted students day!!

@szs1994, I know, but we wouldn’t be making the open house in April, but for sure SOAR and WOW:).

Any Environmental Engg?

@gotoslo, when do you think that they will start to release rejections? simultaneously with acceptances these next two weeks or after?

will they be releasing more acceptances? Or could it possibly be that its only rejections coming

@justin7473, I tried to get that out of the gal I spoke with but she was vague about the rejections. Trust me, I know how frustrating it is for you and everyone on this forum. She was clear that the process will continue for two more weeks. I bet the forum will be busy with acceptances again tomorrow:)

@everyone ;p i just called, and they said that they did not release any today, that they are processing the people who have already replied, and that they are going to be releasing acceptances AND rejections during the next two weeks

@gotoslo, ^^ yeah i called and my person said that, and i really appreciate your username, it is fun to type in :p

Anything is possible, but if you go back to the 2013 Acceptance thread, you can see how it was done last year. Applicants started to get Waitlisted just 3 days after decisions started coming out, and rejections about 2 weeks after decisions started coming out.

I’ve convinced my daughter to start focusing her energy on the schools she HAS been accepted to. Although, she is starting to get excited about UOP, even though we don’t have an answer from them yet. My daughter’s counselor sent her transcripts to UOP that included her 1st semester grades from this year (she got her first 4.0!). We’ll see what happens.

@justin7473, I may have jumped the gun with my username, if my son doesn’t get in I will have to change it:(
I guess I didn’t think that one through…lol

@gotoslo, what was your son’s major? wasn’t it in engineering?

@justin7473, Computer Science. There were quit a few acceptances for his major on Friday so it worries me a little. But, I need to put that aside and focus on this week. I bet there will be many offers going out to all majors in the next few days, how can there not be? A lot of smart students on this thread, that’s a fact!

@gotoslo, yeah, there is, what are his stats? I am civ eng and mine are ~3.6w csu gpa, 1430 CR+M SAT(790 math), 10aps, and lots of ECs with some leadership (i know they don’t put a lot of weight on those, but still…) so scared/nervous/excited for the next weeks! hopefully civ isn’t suddenly the hardest major, considering that it was one of the easiest for the past few years.

The first wave started Wednesday maybe the second wave will too…

does anyone know how competitive liberal arts is? I’ve heard opposing opinions
