I saw so few BME on this thread that made it so I am not sure what to think. Stats are better than most of the
electrical engineers that seem to have been accepted, but I guess Biomed is a whole different ball game. Know for fact a friend got into BME with lower stats. Wish they didn’t cap the weighted classes or I think we would be looking much better since SAT scores were not in the 2200 range. Well we are still waiting to hear from 8 other schools where didn’t apply engineering.

@justin7473, I posted my son’s stats on page 59, middle of the page. By the way, your stats look very good:).

still waiting on animal science in-state, applied early decision but was deferred however my stats are in range for the college of agriculture so I’m hopeful!! checking the portal like 15 times a day cal poly is my dream school!!

Saving the best (Mechanical engineering) for last…just kidding. I hope that is the case though.

I am waiting for mechanical engineering to roll through. I have a high GPA and low SAT, but hopefully they ill account for the fact that both Junior and Senior years I was/ am in colleges courses at Eastern Washington University. I also have over 1000 hours of community service and over 500 hours in working and other ECs. I am really hoping those will make up for the SAT. Good luck to all of you! I am waiting so impatiently as I am sure many of you are as well

This thread is probably the most active on CC.

id expect things to begin again either tomorrow or wednesday

I’m hopeful guys.

@gotoslo, those look really good, yeah, my gpa sucks, but hopefully my Sat and rigor make up for it well good luck!

@girlmom2 what were ur BME friends “lower” stats? Thanks

Have any Aerospace Engineering majors been accepted for In-State applicants? I’m trying to read all the posts, but there are 70 pages. If so, what are your stats? My son has a 3.95 weighted GPA, 30 ACT. We’ve got our fingers crossed, but we know it might be a stretch when compared to all the stats listed for other engineering majors.

Does anyone else have updating on the my calpoly login page when you input your login?

Actually it says critical system status

@polyhopeful, yep, probably everyone does. Maybe its a good sign:)

@socal4parent You can search this thread by clicking on the SEARCH button (look for magnifying glass icon) sitting next to the page numbers at the top and bottom of this thread. I did a quick search and it seems like there were some Aerospace Engineers accepted last week.

@socal4parent, thank you for that little tip, that is helpful:)

I have a feeling all accepted have been sent. Now it’s wait list and rejections. They didn’t seem to have a second “wave” in last years thread.

Perhaps this is the end of acceptances - perhaps not. There seem to be many majors with no acceptances so far, and, when I called the admissions office last week, they said they’d roll out admissions across 2 weeks. So, I think today was simply a lull day. Perhaps they were EXHAUSTED from last week :-)

They just sent a video message from the President of Cal Poly to admitted students. So maybe they’re busy doing that?

I believe that they are really going to be going through the next 2 weeks with both the rejections and acceptances. It seems to me that there are a lot of majors that have not been sent out yet, so just be hopeful!

Thanks for the encouragement. I’m kicking myself thinking I should have applied ED.
