My son has been accepted to CSULB and SDSU for Kinesiology. He applied to some UC’s also as a bio major.

I got accepted to SDSU in December for Bio and was accepted to Long Beach two weeks ago. Cal Poly is the only school out of 7 that I’m waiting on and it’s my dream school!

I’m absolutely on pins and needles waiting! I’ve been accepted to three other CSU campuses and still waiting on two UC’s but Cal Poly is my number one.

Cal Poly is also my number one!! I can’t wait

Still waiting on CPSLO, but at least my daughter finally heard from SDSU. Unfortunately, it was a rejection.

Still waiting on Kinesiology, too! The suspense is killing us! :)

Could they possibly make this process any worse? UCSB got over 80000 applicants this year and they will let everyone know in a day. Ridiculous. So glad this is not a high priority college for my D. It makes you wonder what else they don’t do well.

@CDSMOM Oh nooo! I am really sorry. I was saying we had not heard from SDSU (as of 2pm today) but I just thought I would check again before I posted. My daughter was not accepted either. I am going to say it again and again…our girls, (and all the rest of the awesome students on this forum) are all going to land just where they are suppose to go. Just because you don’t get in at Cal Poly, that does not mean you have failed or are less than in any way. It just means that a fabulous college experience is awaiting you somewhere else. I know for sure you will all be brilliant and have the time of your life, look forward to the blessing of a college education. The schools that get each of you will be made richer because of your presence.

[Our CP portal is still no decision}.

My D not accepted to SDSU either. She will be devastated if not admitted to CalPoly. Her only other choice is Chico, or transfer to CP. She has had her heart set on four-year college, dorm life, etc., not community college.

@joyful1, You are so right! SDSU was not where my daughter was supposed to be, and I know her father and I are secretly pleased about that. Our girls are moving on to greener pastures! Hopefully at CP.

@KeenOne I think my daughter will end up at Chico if she doesn’t get into CP. She was also accepted to Fresno State, but we have heard some negative opinions of Fresno. UOP is another option, but the cost/financial aid will be a huge factor in that decision.

@CDSMOM, my daughter will probably end up at Chico, she’s had her heart set on four-year college, dorm life, etc., not community college to transfer. She’s also been accepted to a private in NY, but too much $$$.

@KeenOne & @CDSMOM- we will all land at Chico if not CP !! I am finding Chico getting higher on my list, so much good to be said about wanting/accepting our students…
.I was not feeling great about SDSU, our friends daughter was declined at CP last year went with SDSU, and it has not gone all that great.

@KeenOne, sorry what is your daughters major?

My son recently received an email from Chico and Stanislaus because my son applied to an impacted major (I think that was what it said). He never applied to those schools and he has been accepted at all the CSU’s he has applied to except SLO. I wonder if SLO sends out information to other schools about the students it rejects?

@liveonboca Someone else on this forum received the same email. Makes me wonder…

@joyful1 Nutrition. How about yours?

Like a few other schools, wish someone from CP SLO Admissions team was on this thread to feel the misery we are experiencing. Well it certainly is preparing us for the rigors of College No decisions yet on my app yet (Biological Sciences).

More interview and job opportunities come from relationships and contacts than from degrees, so wherever you go invest in other people.

@joyful1: My son is seriously considering SDSU since he has not heard from SLO. I would like to know more about the problems your friend’s D had at SDSU if you do not mind sharing the information.
