<p>To all the parents on this forum- I appreciate your concern and true devotion to this whole college process. However, this forum was made to acknowledge stats and acceptances for Cal Poly SLO and not to show off your child. I’m a high school senior and it’s very frustrating to see more and more posts on here regarding your child and how great they are, which I’m sure they are. But this forum was made for prospective Cal Poly students to use as a reference to compare their stats to others and not made for looking at parents talking about their kids. On behalf of many of the high school seniors still waiting to hear back, I just really wanted to say please refrain from talking about your child but rather let us look at this forum for our own benefit to see who got in with what stats. Please understand where we are all coming from because this whole process is stressful as it is and it doesn’t make us seniors like seeing others who got in to certain schools if we didn’t. I hope I’m not asking for too much but I needed to say this for I know no one else would. In no way I intended to offend anyway, I hope you all can understand. Thank you </p>
<p>@gumbymom @joyful1 Jumping in here, too, as I had the same question when I saw that. My D has not heard from CP either, yet has received Honors Admission at SDSU. But CP is her first choice!</p>
<p>Yes, I’ve been accepted into the Honors program at SDSU as well but still no word from Cal Poly. I have a feeling they set the bar a little higher because they can. I have a 4.23 GPA, 1860 SAT and multiple AP classes. I’m in the top 2% of my school and that may not be good enough. Either way, I would like to know.</p>
<p>Have been shepherding my nephew through the college admissions process. CSULB, SDSU and Fresno State all denied him almost immediately after he applied. (At the time Fresno was only admitting from the 5 surrounding counties) Pretty much had taken Cal Poly off the “possible” list after that and decided to seriously consider out-of-state options. Then at 4:31 am this morning, his portal changed and an email video arrives with an offer of admission for Food Science and Technology. I think I know a lot about the college admissions game, but this is bordering on crazy. So – CSULB, SDSU and Fresno State don’t want this kid, but Cal Poly does? </p>

PARENTS - Please join me if you are interested. I would hate to hurt any feelings of these great high school kids posting in this thread.</p>

<p>I applied for Kinesiology ED and was rolled over RD. I am still currently waiting for a decision. I have a 2030 SAT (1350 CR + M) and a 3.6 UW GPA. I attend a pretty high performing high school but I doubt admissions really minds. Honestly not expecting an acceptance, but will be thrilled if one comes! Any other kinesiology kids mind posting stats? </p>

<p>@Jnmaietta I heard a guy from my school who got into SLO for BME with a 33 ACT and a 3.8 UW GPA. Lemme know if that helps</p>

<p>Was anyone accepted today? If not, WHY ARE THEY NOT RELEASING MORE!?!?!?!? They said that they would be releasing this entire week, but there has only been one day of acceptances so far! Where are the rest? </p>
