OOS accepted this afternoon. Biology major. Thrilled! Good luck to all:)

where are you from @notmadeofmoney?

Nevada

Everyone, please remember to post your stats. It helps the rest of us contextualize the decisions.
Good luck to all.

Hey all - about that error you are seeing about the system down. My son had the same error on the front page. I logged in anyway and it let me in to the student center. See if you can log in past that error anyway.
Agreed about the OOS too. It doesn’t seem right. Does it make you feel better knowing we get charged more? I hope you all hear and get accepted soon! [-O<

Good morning ! and nothing still no decision… hello long day ahead of checking the portal every few hours.

I don’t have a clue what will happen but my friend (In state) told me that last year (2013) she received her acceptance on Feb. 20th. Her friend found out Feb. 19th after the 3 day holiday weekend.

Do they release on the weekends?

^^ Based on last year’s thread, decisions were released until Friday, 2/15 and resumed on Tuesday, 2/19. Of course, this is representative only of College Confidential, but I think we can assume no more decisions will be released over this holiday weekend. >:P

I agree socalmom23, best to just relax for the next 3 days and resume our portal checks on Tuesday morning.

Good luck to all of you who are waiting for your admission decision results :)

According to social media posts, it looks like another wave of decisions just came out, but I’m not positive.

Looks like I’ve been accepted for Aero! 4.0 GPA with 34 ACT but no AP’s because my high school doesn’t do AP. I got my video in a highly cryptic e-mail linking me to their site with a cell phone number verification link in there as well. The e-mail arrived at 10:22 AM today California time.

BigOto2: Congrats! Are you a California resident or OOS student?

Thanks! I’m OOS from Washington state. Cal Poly is currently my third choice behind Caltech (unlikely to get in) and UW but I need to visit again to know for sure. Very exciting!

So, it looks like CP will be sending out admissions throughout the weekend?

So if CP slo is releasing admission decisions this weekend it begs the question as to if in-state–like me–students might receive their acceptances or is this particular disbursement exclusive for OOS?

That’s the million dollar question! Why oos first? A previous poster mentioned that the CSU’s all do oos first but I still have the question as to why? If anyone has the answer to this I would love to hear it:). Don’t get me wrong, I’m very happy to hear of the oos students getting accepted but it would be nice to know why the California student’s are 2nd.

Are these new decisions for people who checked last night and still had “no determination” on their portals? Or just decisions that were maybe released last night and portals not checked until this morning?

So far I’ve seen only out of state but I have seen TWO in-state acceptances posted on twitter.
