I really don’t think that if you haven’t heard for an engineering major already that you didn’t get in only because somebody else did. There are a bunch of potential reasons that some people are getting accepted before others even in the same major. The engineering college accepts a little over 3,000 applicants and there have only been a few BME, aerospace, and civil engineers on this forum. There’s bound to be a bunch more coming.
Hey, another Computer Engineering applicant checking in. Have they skipped over the major, or are there just few acceptances? I don’t want to believe it, but it seems like the latter may be true.
I’m starting to think they’re just accepting the most qualified applicants first, and will accept the borderlines/less qualified in the next couple days. (Or thats just wishful thinking?) definitely thought my stats were good enough for first round admission :-S
