collegefreak89: i don't think they are the same for each sitting
if they were, a lot of ppl would get 800s on their second attempt

Is the socre coming out in 2 or 3 weeks?

May 31st - that's 3.5 weeks

8 billion weeks

collegeboard says 29th ... with (tentative) next to it. ha

I got this e-mail from cb...

We would like you to know that:

Your May SAT scores can be viewed online starting May 31.

We will be sending scores to your high school and to any colleges to which you requested scores be sent beginning on May 31.

Official scores will be mailed to you beginning on June 9.

nicole - charge on magnanese, it was two out of the three.... the only one it wasn't was k2MnO4 b/c Mn = +6 in that.

i think one of them was like MnF2 and other one was like Mn+2?

how about the endothermic question?

the options were like

1.something + o2 -> co2 h20
2.something +02-> co2 h20
3. dilute solution?
4. solid co2 -> gas co2
5. don't remember

i put 4 because i think i saw somewhere that during the sublimation it always abosorbs eneregy. I think i saw it from the real sat2 book

overall, the chem test was really easy today.

If I remember correctly:

I. K2MnO4
II. MnF2
III. MnO

hey do you guys remember the very last question before the 100's, that went like, "which one of the above is a chemical reaction that does not involve redox?" which one was it?

what is wrong with CollegeBoard??
The website says "Check back on May 29 for May 6 SAT scores."
and now they sent an e-mail to someone that it's 31st?

The one without redox was the double displacement (precipitate).

Do you guys remember the answer to the question that asked something about "The reaction that evolves O2 gas as a product" It was in the same set of questions as the one just discussed. Please.

what about this?
does alcohol burning has more entropy increase or two compounds reacting to make a gas?

nope...or at least i do not believe so.

In any account, that was pretty easy...finished in 35...hoping for a 750, since I know I'll have to retake IIC and don't wanna retake chem, too.

The one that doesn't involve oxidation-reduction simplified into the expression:

Ag+ + Cl- -> AgCl

Ag still has ionization state + and Cl still has ionization state - even when it's in the AgCl compound, so no redox--no transfer of electrons.

i don't remember what i put for that one....hmmm

yo guys... that KI one is definitely water extraction...because only KI can be dissolved in water(promise you guys this is right because i saw similar questions on previous Olympiad test)

did you guys say that CCl4 is the thing that is non polar and doesnt form solution with water

Did it say nonpolar or polar? Because I thought it said polar, so I chose CH3OH.
