**Official Class of 2008 Priority Submittee Decisions**

C'mon whirlybird, we all know that most ECs people do are done with college admissions in mind, not because people truly enjoy them. It is a sad state of affairs, but it seems to be what colleges want to encourage. When I applied to college may years ago, I had zero ECs. Zero, zip, nada. Between studying for a very demanding HS and being with my friends/enjoying my teen years, I managed to fill up my time. Despite the shocking absence of ECs I somehow still turned out OK, and somehow graduated from college with a nearly 4.0 GPA (did not have a B until my final year, in a subject I thoroughly disliked).

My honors essay was honestly crap- it didn't say anything and didn't have a point; however, it was written well.
[] Extracurriculars: Oh lots. 4 years of mock trial + captain, 3 years newspaper + ed-in-chief, 4 years volunteer club, 2 years NHS, founder of GSA on campus, plus more.

[] State or Country: Arizona
[] School Type: Public, slightly competitive.
