Official Class of 2014 University of Michigan Decisions Thread

Sorry that I haven’t been following this thread so the answer is probably in here somewhere, but has anyone who applied right before the deadline been accepted yet? When did people who applied then last year receive a decision?

^^why would u think decisions aren’t still being released every thursday…?

p.s. mori, stop deflecting blame from yourself. none of my bad grades were my fault either. cough

@ Moricarak

I know how you feel! I actually don’t know anyone who applied to Michigan and didn’t get in, so it’s frustrating, especially when I know that I am much more intelligent than some of those people. I have a pretty good ACT score (at the higher end of UMich’s middle 50th percentile,) but Junior year was rough and my transcript reflects that. Of course, everyone expects me to get in because I have a reputation for being the overly-intellectual-wise-beyond-her-years-teacher’s-pet girl. It will be very hard to stomach if I am rejected.

“Intellectual,” “wise,” and “teacher’s pet” are seldom found in a solitary description. :P

I jest.

because last week people didn’t hear on Thursday and spent 24 hours trying to figure out why not

^yeah, they heard on friday. over the years, it’s usually been either thursday or friday. so stop trying to predict the future, everyone.

^^^&, yeah, i’m sure everyone in your school is counting down the days until u get your glorious acceptance from Michigan. rolls eyes

relax, people.

@ CronoTriggerfan

Yes, I realized after posting that I might appear extremely arrogant haha.

In an effort to sound slightly less obnoxious, I will say this: Michigan is a great school and I’ll be very thankful if I get in.

^^yeah! go blue lol

some reputation you have there roseknows

Oh dear, can I please retract that statement? Sigh…

Has anyone else been deferred yet on cc and recieved your letter? I’ve heard there are multiple different deferrel letters.

I’m surprised.

I also made a error with my earlier message, I check my wa just to see what happens to applications after a deferrel ( like if anything changes to their wa format etc…) and notice for my SAT score there isn’t a recieved date…just test date ( dated as 10/1/09).

@ Coolbrezze

Wait. If under Credentials in WA, it says “Test Date” (rather than “Date Received,”) it means you’ve been deferred? Oh dear…

No, hahaha that’s what it always says lol

it’s definitely always said ‘test date’ not ‘date received’
you guys seriously need to calm down…

You have to learn to ignore Coolbrezze as I’m pretty sure that he’s borderline ■■■■■■■■ (sorry, but it’s true). Good thing that that shows in his GPA and ACT, and thank god that he isn’t going to get in. Again, sorry I’m being mean, but people come on here for advice and general discussion, not to get answers from someone who gives them bad information and can’t even spell things correctly.

Ah, thank you for reasurring me! I’m just getting very antsy at this point and hope that I hear from UMich soon. :)

■■■■■ that’s messed up but pretty funny hahaha

Wow, why are people so bitter today?

hey…easy on coolbrezze. he means well.
