Hopefully the emails we’re receiving will look like this (change Lawrence to your own name)(change 2012 to 2014)(change LSA to whichever program you applied to)

I will cry tears of joy if the first word I read is “Congratulations” I might spontaneously combust out of extreme happiness

It really seems like they’re not coming tomorrow.

Can anyone back up the claim that there is a “8,000” increase in EA applicantions from last year? That number looks unofficial and exaggerated.

So next week is my finals week and I’m pretty sure I’ll fail all my finals if I have to wait another week. Also, I’m pretty sure my family will murder me if they have to go through a whole other week of me complaining about my decision…

My favorite thing to do on this thread is complain…can anyone tell??? haha

Does tomorrow really look that improbable right now?? I’ve been waiting anxiously all week! We all have!

Like I said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Umich neglected to inform anyone and just sent out decisions tomorrow. That being said, I also wouldn’t be surprised if they pushed it back a week. They’ve been really vague since forever and really nothing is guaranteed it seems.

I don’t think it’s that improbable; it has been this weekend the past two years and I don’t think the admissions staff really wants to stay an extra week. The only thing that worries me is the increase in the number of EA applications, but hopefully the staff was able to handle it.

NO other school seem to be having a problem releasing their ED decisions on time, taking into consideration of the common app glitch. I still have faith.

Seeing all anxieties built up this week, people must like the rolling admissions which you know your decision once it’s decided. Maybe it’s just a game of life, it really does not matter whether there are 8000 more applications this year as I believe most of the decisions are already made and in the system, it is just a matter of when they want the decisions viewable by the applicants. Just take it easy and hope for the best tomorrow.

Tomorrow is Friday the 13th. Do you really want to get your decisions tomorrow? -_-

Yes!!!

Anyone from NJ in here

@erindolan North Jersey right here haha! just anxiously waiting for a decision

Unlike many other schools that announce all within 1 day, UMich will release the EA acceptance notices in batches over a week or so. It is likely to have that process starting tomorrow based on past experience. They would never admit the EA results to be announced tomorrow to avoid turmoil. So don’t be surprised if you do not hear anything tomorrow while others are reporting here.

I hope I get mine on the first day lol

I actually wouldn’t mind if my decision wasn’t released on the first day, provided SOME decisions were released and I could start overreacting to people’s stats that were getting in or getting deferred.

Obviously I hope I get my decision tomorrow, but any decision tomorrow would be better than more static from the admissions office.

bagelboy96…Why don’t you mind your own business, I think you’ve been eating to many bagels fat boy. Plus my grades are probably better than yours so suck it. You have no right to say crap to me. Go insult someone else. I’m trying to help people get answers jackass.
