<p>I never got an email about December 24th. This is my first email confirming EA.</p>
<p>Getting deferred to Illinois was like getting hit by a right hook by Kostya Tszyu. hope umich dont deferr me. Give me a unpainful fast rejection or a fast acceptance. Dont want that waitlist b.s. either ha.</p>
<p>@ivoryphoenix, did you recently send any documents, like test scores, to the admissions office? It seems really confusing that you’re gonna be notified later even thought you submitted your app before me.</p>

<p>No I didn’t. They did say I did not make EA because of whatever, but I sent in proof right away and I’m now in EA. I have no idea what’s going on…</p>

<p>An email should have sent either saying you made EA or you didn’t. Either way there should’ve been a confirmation email.</p>

<p>@chdle10, no, that’s not at all what the email is “clearly” saying. Every Umich email with confirmation of EA contained that paragraph about the School of Music. Mine did too, and I applied for engineering. On the other hand, it does clearly say that ivoryphoneix qualified for EA, even though he’ll probably get his decision later than most people.</p>
