from NY 28 ACT and how do you convert from a 100 scale to the 4.0 scale?
Son accepted into NUin program from CT after being deferred EA. Not looking like he will go to Northeastern. He really liked the campus too
ANYONE FROM CALI???
@kaatherinee Me! We have until 5 PM PST to wait most likely…not as bad as UCSD though lol
From California and still haven’t gotten anything, did everyone get their decision by email early this afternoon?
@Asil65 I would highly recommend looking into the program before eliminating it - one semester out of 8 to 10 gives you plenty of time to explore Boston - it’s certainly not for everyone, but many find they actually preferred NU.in after coming back.
@TheRealTalq they are releasing by geographic area. Us Californians may have to wait as late as 5 PM PST.
Accepted from MA after being deferred… 31 ACT, 3.7 UW 4.2W, honestly after seeing people with amazing stats being denied, I was prepared for rejection, so I’m pretty surprised…
@Asil65 I just posted this on the NUin thread…
A year ago this week my son was accepted into the NUin program having never heard of it before that day. He decided to take a chance on something new & unexpected and off he went to Greece. He had the experience of a lifetime and would not change it for anything. He would definitely encourage you to take this amazing opportunity you’ve been given. In addition to his studies in Greece he was able to visit Rome, Florence. Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris and hike up Mt. Olympus. He’s now back in Boston doing very well academically & experienced a very smooth transition. We did receive financial aid for the semester abroad, you just can’t use federal loans. Hope that is helpful, congrats all!
Accepted! NJ 2160 SAT, 4.0 GPA Top 1% of class 10k a year in merit aid
Accepted to NU in program after getting deferred EA. Does anyone know if out of accepted applicants the people chosen for the NU in program were random or it was people at the bottom of the acceptance list? Northeastern isn’t my top choice and I probably won’t attend, but I’m curious to find out how they picked people. Congrats to those accepted!
