apparently my college counselor got an email saying it would be thursday
So it’s settled! Thursday it is!
eek im scared
@llewengineering earlier in the thread, a parent said that their child got scholarship with a 33 and 3.8 UW and got into the honors progratm. ED is very different from EA though, so we’ll just have to wait and see I guess
@IowaI03 wasn’t that child hooked, though?
@gymgirl12345 In the past all EA decisions came out on the same day.
Repost
Since Northeastern is changing things up this year the EA decisions may come out Thursday, or they could come out Tuesday (or Wednesday?) In the past EA and RD decisions start to be released starting at 3 or 4 PM local time and take 4 or 5 hours to be completed. They are released geographically starting in Massachusetts and moving south then west. Decisions have never been released before 3 PM your local time.
You will receive a generic email that links to your decision page. If you received honors it will be stated in your decision letter. There will be separate tabs that indicate any merit and need based aid offered. If NU In is offered (and there is some uncertainty about this) it will be stated in the letter.
@GryffinPuff ED decisions were released last Thursday December 8th
@TomSrOfBoston I was accepted into NUin! I really want to go to the Canada program at McGill but I know the options change every year. I don’t like to travel extremely far from home (I live on the east coast) and Canada would definitely be my best bet. I was accepted into CAMD, which was compatible last year. Do you think it will be again?
@je55i17 Sorry, no idea.
@TomSrOfBoston, I think some kids last year got calls a couple days before results were released. I’m going to look back and confirm
@suzyQ7 Yes calls and “likely” emails saying they had a good application. But there were no actual decisions released until the common decision day. .
hi! I had lower then their average test scores and I still got in ED!
also the major I chose was nursing ^
^congratulations my friend! do you mind posting your test scores and gpa if possible?
Apparently someone in my school got in EA last night
Does everyones status check still say “we are looking forward to seeing your application.”? Does that mean they have not reviewed it yet?
My daughter’s screen looks the same as it has looked since Oct.
^^Same
My S got in ED and his status check screen did not change up until the decisions came out.
