Your welcome. No, he applied RD.

Maybe that’s why it’s different.
Hope our kids can all get in. Cross fingers!

Good luck to your son, helen2013!

My son got a likely letter.
It still shows the list of documents. and it says that 'required for packing.
Hope it was helpful.

Thank you, njboysmom. Congrats to your son!

I just got an email with the instructions for decisions. Am I very late in receiving it, or just the first to mention it here?

Financial Aid Question
When you guys go to your portal, can you see your financial aid documents that are received or missing? I for sure am missing parent W2 forms but for some reason there is no tab for me to see my fin aid forms. Is this the same for anyone else?

I can see the financial aid information.

I can’t see anything…it just says home at the top idk why lol.

yea cant see mine either

@Maxyend I also just got mine, and immediately proceeded to set up my account! so excited/nervous!!

I got mine at 5:25 pm today! Excited as well. I’ll wait to activate it later, though. Too much excitement in one day. LOL

So what does it mean if some people can see their FinAid information and others can’t? Why would it be different???

Idk I got a likely letter but forgot to submit financial aid and did so just 2 days so so they could be giving me an estimate?

I got the e mail that says theyll release admission decisions on the 28th as well. Did everyone get it?

Is the lack of a Financial Aid portal a cruel way of early rejection :(

What do you guys mean with “lack of Financial Aid portal”?

When I go to track my application, it gives me this

Current Admission Applications
FU FOUNDATN SCHL OF ENGINEERING & APPLIED SCIENCE:UGRAD - Fall 2013

Financial Aid
Columbia University Financial Aid System Online

Do some people not have the FA option? Not that I applied for FA, and when I click on it, it redirects me.

^Firstgenn, if anything, the lack of FA portal would mean acceptance considering a poster with a LL has the same thing on the last page.

I wouldn’t read too much in to this, given the Columbia website states that Financial Aid tracking is only available until 20th March. After this date, it makes sense for the tracking tab to disappear.

This is what it says on their website: Online document tracking for Regular Decision First-Year applicants is no longer available. Admissions and financial aid online document tracking is available for Transfer applicants until April 15, 2013.

Before i got the email, I was able to look at the document list that i submitted. But, I couldn’t check em anymore… =/ Anyway, they had all of the required documents for FA last time i checked.
