Official Cornell Class of 2019 Early Decision

Those getting emails, what is the subject line of the email, trying to make sure I didn’t miss it accidently.

Also, has anyone gotten an interview who is doing AEM?

Plenty of alumnus in my area. My friend’s father got his BS and MS from Cornell.

@jamesjunkers‌ The subject line of the email I received was “Cornell Information Interview.”

@Sushanth24 i am marashtran, soz dnt know how to spell it, but I am from Canada, left India when I was one.

@artisticnative‌ : Yep, that’s short and sweet
@jamesjunkers‌ : Mine just said Cornell in the subject

Thanks @Autumn97 :)

If you got an interview, what school/major was it for. Sorry, I’m just really nervous, because I know people in my hs who applied to CAS and CHE got interviews, but I don’t think anyone from CALS has

No interview yet. Applying to ILR.

@jamesjunkers‌ I am CoE and a Computer Science major.

@jamesjunkers, My daughter got her interview done on 11/7, CALS/Dyson AEM, rest assured that does NOT determine the final outcome.

@kphoto516‌ I applied to Animal Science in CALS! How about you?
And @jamesjunkers I applied to CALS and got an interview. The subject line was “Invite: Informal Cornell Meet and Greet”

@jamesjunkers‌ i applied to CHE as a FSAD major.

Also, has anyone been inside Cornell’s dorms?

Anyone applying to CALS Science of Earth Systems?

I had my interview yesterday. Ask me any questions for those who are doing them soon. Also, she mentioned something about reporting back to Cornell about me by December 1st … so I guess it is technically evaluated.

Does anyone know if not getting an interview is a bad sign, or if it is purely luck?

@jeff0418, were you asked the typical college interview questions or was it more you asking questions and the alum sharing experiences? We’re all applying ED so Cornell knows that we are interested, what’s your take on your “informational meeting”?

@jamesjunkers It may actually be a good sign if you do not get a CAAN interview because it means you may be applying from a unique geographical area. This will only help with admissions.

Really just seems like geographic circumstance @jamesjunkers, not a sign at all. Also there’s still plenty of time to be contacted between now and Dec.1

can those who get an interview post scores and GPA? Just want to see if there is a pattern.
