<p>@captainsparrow Yeah but there are over 30,000 regular applicants so why would it say that? And that page is for the early applicants now, not the regular applicants. It’s confusing haha but hopefully there aren’t 4,000!</p>

<p>So relative to my other posts, I guess it’s official, this year over 4,000 applied early decision. On the online login page to see your decision this is what it says: “More than 4,000 early decision applicants will be eager to access their online decision at or shortly after 5:00 p.m., so we ask for your patience if you cannot access your decision right away.” Hopefully they accept more than last year then!</p>

<p>Ive been panicking already. I know it won’t do me any good, but I can’t help it. It’s horrible to feel like you have no control over something anymore that someone else is reading and judging without even knowing you? I mean, I feel like I have just a good a chance as anyone else here, but I’m P E T R I F I E D.</p>

<p>Yeah, the amount of people applying early decision is scary! Based on the number of ED applicant acceptances over the years (which hasn’t changed significantly) and inferring that 4000 applicants applied, the acceptance rate will probably be around 28% - 29%. 10 years ago the regular decision acceptance rate was 29%, and ED was 42%! I’d hate to be applying in 5 years!</p>

<p>I’m a little bit confused. It says something about a PIN in an email. I’m assuming the email will come on the 13th saying something like “your admissions decision is ready.” Can someone just clarify that this is true? And will all decisions be released on the 13th?</p>

<p>We’ll get our pin sometime before, probably within three days of our decision for troubleshooting purposes (so nothing goes awry if we try and check our decision).</p>

<p>I mean, I will be alright if I don’t get in, there are plenty of great art programs. Many that are higher ranked and better in graphic design. But Cornell is my first choice for a reason. Keeping my fingers crossed.</p>

<p>CALS AEM here. Just got an email from an alumni about setting up a “contact meeting.” I thought it was a bit late since decisions will be released in less than 17 days, but I was quick to respond so hopefully I can set up my interview sometime this week.</p>
