Hey everyone!
I am soo excited for the decisions!!!
I made a timer :-
[Countdown to Dec 13, 2012 5:00 PM in New York](<a href=“Countdown Timer – Countdown to Dec 13, 2012 5:00 pm in New York”>Countdown Timer – Countdown to Dec 13, 2012 5:00 pm in New York)

I applied Human Ecology for Design & Environmental Analysis
I have legacy, and spent 3 weeks at Cornell this summer at their Summer College -

Did anyone else do Cornell Summer College? I’m hoping that is a huge help with my application.

I applied Hum Ec for “design & environmental analysis”

Copy and Paste & add to the number for the school you applied ED too

I just called Cornell Admissions today and they told me they don’t have a release date yet for early decision. The December 13th rumor just got served. Boom.

well, unless this website is just a great big scam, the release date is December 13th.

https://decision.applyyourself.com/?id=cornellu

I called admissions the day I got back to school after sandy and they said December 13th at 5pm. It’s not a rumor.

I just had my interview today… he told me that I was the only person in my state that applied to ILR ED lol. Do you guys think that that will help me?

Also, he kept on mentioning how competitive Cornell is… then he went on about how great my state school’s honor college is. Think he was trying to tell me something secretly… ??

Taylor, that certainly doesn’t sound too good… i get the impression that he was trying to tell you that maybe you’re not fit for cornell. but don’t take me for my word, i’m not so experienced with interviews. which state are you from, by the way?

Any Rowers applying early decision?

also, how will I find out on december 13th? Do I go onto my applicant ID?

No, they will email you within the next 1-2 weeks with a PIN to access your decision on the 13th. There will be directions and a link in the email.

you are a saint :)

We got mixed up somewhere. Current totals:

CAS: 5
CALS: 5
ILR: 3
Engineering: 7
Hotel School: 1
Hum Ec: 5
Arch, Art and Planning: 1

^Maybe we should start a new thread that is purely devoted to what students are applying to what colleges within Cornell? I’m pretty sure the totals have been screwed up multiple times as well, so I’m not sure how accurate they are either. On the other hand, restarting the thread and getting everybody to comment again could be a pain as well. Also, another suggestion to improve our counting would be to set aside another row, or maybe sub-row for AEM majors. I think the consensus is that the admissions to AEM is somewhat different from admissions to CALS.

Just my thoughts.

I thought the interview went well. I almost found that aspect of the interview kinda offending, but I may just be over exaggerating it. I don’t know if that’s it because there is no way for him to make a snap judgement like that within the first fifteen minutes of me going on about how much I love my ec’s. I thought I did really well, but now that I examine all the angles I have no idea. :/

He asked what gender my counselor was he also asked, “What does your counselor think about you applying?”…Why would he even ask something like that?
