@student22664 - thanks!!! i hope that everyone here gets in~ we all deserve it!

I hate how Cornell won’t give us an exact date. Columbia is already releasing tomorrow!! I just want to know a definite date

Check your application status guys. It does state December 13, 5:00 pm EST

I stand corrected.

The closer we get, the more nervous and excited I’m getting. Anticipation is the worst. Well, good luck everyone!

Hello [name],

As Cornell University admission selection committees approach the end of early decision application review, we want to share information with you regarding Cornell’s online admission decision notification process.

Early decision applicants will be able to view their admissions decisions online on Thursday, December 13, beginning at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). A few days prior to the decision release date, we will contact all early decision applicants by email with instructions for viewing their decisions online. Please note that decisions will not be posted on your Cornell online application status account, so please follow the instructions that will be outlined in our email to you.

You do not need to do anything further at this time. We will post a new message on our website once we have sent the email instructions for viewing your decision online.

December 13th… oh boy.

At least we aren’t last to find out, I think Princeton and Brown find out after us.

brown is the 12th also…

^ along with UPenn

If it makes anyone feel better Stanford and several top LACs get their decisions back on the 15th. (that would ruin my Saturday)

Oh haha I thought Brown was after for some reason, my bad.

dartmouth’s early decision applicants went down like 15%. they are going to have similar acceptance rate as us!!!

7days and 14hrs arggggg so stressful. cant wait so scareeeeddd i cannnt typpeee lllloooooolll

My grades are reeaaaalllly bad righhhtt noooowww. Dooess anyoonee know if not admittteed will pllaacce in rreg admission??

I don’t think that’s the case. Dartmouth is not Cornell. But, since there are over 1000 applicants this year, of course it’s going to be slightly more competitive.

@battlebrick, did they send you that email on their own, or did you ask them about the date?

If early decsion applicants get rejhected do we get automatically placed in Regular decision??

Does anyone know??

No, I think the options are accepted, rejected, and deferred
