@student: we’re underage!

^ a soda obvs

What’s the point of getting accepted anyway? The world will end in a week.

@tsk: ik i was kidding lol

@peppino: a big accomplishment to make me feel better on my death bed

How many people can access the page that has the three headings" “academics,” “finances”, and “personal information” under the financial aid tab in the check application status. On the page there are also smaller links that include "my class schedule, wishlist, add/drop a class, grades, account inquiry, to view cornell card balance and activity log visit the bursar office, demographic data, open enrollment dates, etc.

any bio and society majors for CALS?

@driveshaft

Just a question regarding this type of thing in general.
Do things like this actually matter? Like, is it true that if you can access your schedule page or financial aid or housing you were accepted, and if you can’t you were rejected? I know there’s really no way to be sure, but maybe if someone remembers a similar thing happening last year we could figure it out.

In regards to the page with 3-headings, I can access the “Account Inquiry” and “Student Center” but trying to access “Class Schedule” yields the message:

“You do not have access to the class schedule at this time.”

Oh well. I’m just going to go ahead and pretend that doesn’t mean anything with regards to the admissions decision.

i don’t think being able to access the student center means anything, as everyone so far has reported that they are able to do so. being able to access housing, on the other hand, is a likely indicator of your acceptance, but only for REGULAR applicants, and not early decision applicants. see this thread : http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/14326338-post2433.html

This is a message to everybody

Please stop trying to divine whether or not you have been accepted by comparing what portions of Cornell’s website or portals you can access. First off, I’m pretty sure everybody can access the same amount of features. Secondly, even if there is a disparity in access, there are literally hundreds of reasons why you can or can’t access something. You can’t read too much into anything at this point.

Just wait until Thursday to get your response.

I wish you all the best of luck in the college admissions process!

i agree with juanita. we are only creating more stress and anxiety for ourselves :(

I got rejected since I did not get any emails nor new taps on homepage. ha…

Trying to access the housing portal says: “Either your session has timed out or you are not currently logged in. Please visit the University login page to log in.”

Nobody can access the housing portal.

Now I can see how much aid I’m getting… Uh…

Battlebrick what do you mean?

I can see how much financial aid I’m getting. I went to “account inquiry” or something. Shows aid for fall 2013 and spring 2014.

It’s very weird my “account inquiry” lists are suddenly disappeared…

Mine too… I don’t have the drop down menu anymore…

Maybe they are updating some new informations such as financial aids or they just shut down the connection : )

Mine too… Does this mean we are rejected? :’(
