my test scores were pretty low (2010 SAT, 30 ACT) even though I had nice ECs, hooks, and a perfect GPA</p>

<p>As far as a Plan B, I have UF as my safety school (florida resident) and plan on applying to like 20 other elite schools, just to see if I get accepted to any of them. But honestly Cornell is my dream school :)</p>
<p>I feel dumb right now, but I donāt know what exactly you mean by āchancing.ā I read the stats for both of you, and all I have to say is that I sure hope you have a good chance at Cornell because if you donāt then I most certainly donāt! I feel like its so subjectiveā¦you really wonāt know until you know. Iām guilty of this too, but worrying about it now isnāt really going to do anything. </p>

<p>Guys, Iām sitting here reading all your posts about how much you want to go to Cornell, and Iām right there with you guys. Cornell has been my dream school since I was in second grade. I kind of lost sight of my aspirations a little bit in high school though, amongst the commotion and stress. Still, it really saddens me to read that you guys will cry and cry and cry if you donāt get in. I fully think itās acceptable to cry and be upset, but be positive! Cornell cannot be the only school you applied to, and everyone on this thread is probably extremely smart! No matter where we all end up, passion and hard work will lead us to success, not the name of a school! <3 Good luck everyone!</p>
