32 act, 1480 sat (700 math, 780 reading)
3.97 uw gpa, 7th in class at very competitive charter school.
Tons of extracurriculars and leadership positions, biggest was being an eagle scout,
Essays were pretty amazing, writing is my strong point,
Recommendations were amazing too

24 on ACT.
GPA 3.75 unweighted and 5.555 weighted.
Guess what, screw you college confidential and those who thinks scores are everything. Screw scores, screw them, screw them, screw them real hard.
You don’t need +2000 in your SAT or 800’s in your SAT II’s to get into Cornell, you just need to be well rounded and do a lot. Scores are just a number that don’t say much about a student.

@Sciman, I’m sorry. you’ll wind up at a good school, I’m sure. I could see my finaid in that I could see that I had none. I could go to the page where it was and it was just blank with something on the bottom saying that was my aid for 2013/2014</p>

<p>I’m a junior and haven’t applied yet but my friend did and he got declined from EA. I’m not trying to be offensive and I hope you understand because he scored about 450 higher than your sat with an 800 math. Yeah…lol.</p>
<p>I’m not for/against affirmative action and I would just like to get a little insight on your application because I’m at around a 2100 sat now and I would think of Cornell as a high reach atm. Side question: Are the admission rates higher/lower at different schools of Cornell?</p>

<p>5.55 waited lol (if i spelled that right i would prob be accepted lol. Thats not “nothing special” diego congrats to all who made it. I hope none of you think im bitter. I went in as a long shot hoping Just maybe i would get accepted. I am proud of those who did make it in. Its tough.</p>
