I’m going to ask my school college counselor about first-quarter grades tomorrow. She’s incredibly proactive about our college requirements, so if she hasn’t sent anything, I’ll assume that Cornell doesn’t want them this year.

@dougieb92: No one is certain yet. Someone’s counselor called the Cornell admissions office and was told that decisions would be released the 12th, but others are claiming that it’s the 16th. Cornell should be updating their website sometime later this week with the final date.

When do the results for the other Ivies come out? They’re all released around the same time each year, right? (for RD at least, not sure about EA/ED) I really hope it’s the 12th!

I’m forcing myself to focus on schoolwork and other supplements for the time being. Way easier said than done, haha. I still haven’t logged onto the Common App since the day I submitted my Cornell application!

I contacted them and they replied:
“The decision date was left “soft” because of the Common Application issues. While I don’t know the date offhand, I can tell you it will be mid-December, and should be by the end of the week of December 16.”

Not many schools have given out an exact date, but apparently browns results come out on the 12th and yales come out on the 17th. But by the end of the week of the 16th? That’s way later than we thought.

Hopefully they said that just to cover themselves and it will actually be earlier… but if it actually takes that long that would suck. I really hope it’s the 12th…

Heyy guys, first post on CC, so basically a little bit about me is that I’m a Pakistani student applying early to the Cornell Hotel School, my interview was great, and I’m so scared about the decisions but its great knowing you guys are just in the same boat as me

Oh and I called the admissions office and they said the decisions will come out on the 12th (13th my time) so, OMG 10 DAYS LEFTT :O

Lol well someone’s wrong…it can’t be the 12th and the 16th and the end of the week of the 16th at the same time. Plus, It’s unlikely that the admissions people will tell the date to some applicants and not others. Honestly, if we just wait a few more days, we’ll probably get an email telling us the date. All we know is that it’s “mid-December,” and that’s all we will know until the only credible source (cornell) tells us

I really hope its not later than the 12th I just got off the phone with them, they said mid-December and they said we’d get a definitive date by next week

It’s not even 10 days until decision time and there’s already 600 posts. I’ve read through these in years past and talk always ramps up a day or two before decision time. That’ll be both fun and terrifying

Hi guys. So basically this is my first post here, though I’ve been stalking this thread for quite a while now. I’m depressed and excited at the same time; I haven’t been able to concentrate on my other supplements.
C’mon Cornell announce it already! :P
