Official Cornell Early Decision Class of 2018

I guess we should be getting contacted about how to view our admission decision in a few days… 5 days

I didn’t think I believed in ‘God’…up until now that is.
May the force be with us all.

IMHO If your regional admissions counselor (every college has a rep that only looks at apps from specific regions of the world) wants your 1st quarter grades, then they request them.

I think it is completely dependent upon the admissions officers.

It would definitely make sense if it were dependent on the different officers. And it would explain the discrepancies between what different high schools are saying.

I’ve been reading your posts and at least I know I’m not the only one who’s tense…lol…Wish all of you the best
and has any one received instructions on how to view the ED notification on 16th?

Just for the record, my FA to-do list was also updated asking for the student prior year tax forms.

I have noted who said their FA to-do list was updated. Please respond if yours HAS NOT been updated.

After decisions come out we can see if there is a correlation :)

@muhammad9211 I just called the financial aid office and they said that it was just not updated. Mine was actually received! Maybe you can just call too.

A long time ago mine was updated with stuff to send, that I thought I sent… Did some people’s not update at all?

Mine updated (I didn’t know we had to send tax forms haha!) and then updated again after I sent the required materials in.

Thanks for the responses guys. However, at this point I’d probably agree with @Bubbles888 when he says:

“Oh and has anyone NOT been asked for their financial aid forms? I don’t think being asked for your forms is an indicator that you got in. They just need everyone’s stuff, and then after the decisions come out, they can discard the forms they don’t need anymore. But just for times sake, they’re asking everyone to send their forms in now so that they don’t waste so much time.”

However, for the sake of hopefully settling this debate once decisions actually come out, I’ve noted these members as getting FA to-do list updates and will track their results:

However, I think that many of us simply overlooked the FA checklist and forgot to include Student Prior Year Tax Forms when we submitted the other documents :D

I have two scholarship essays that are due Sunday for Tulane. I can’t seem to get motivated!:frowning: Ugh!

so anxious knowing that Dartmouth found out today! any of your friends get in?

As far as I know from my school, 4 applied, 3 were deferred, and 1 got in.

My FA To Do list has been updated. I think everyone’s was updated recently.

@absurd

Mine wasn’t updated.

Is anyone here EDing from the Maryland area? Also, what part of the financial aid to-do got updated? Does it mean anything?

I’m in MD as well.

I doubt financial aid updated-ness means anything, tbh.

Oh and 119 hours left until we get decisions!

No one in my school has been rejected or deferred yet, I’M SO NERVOUS! We have 1 to WashU and 4 in Dartmouth!

About 116.5 hours left now! We’re moving along lol…at least we have a time though. Some schools only give the date, so results could come out any time that day
