Official Cornell Early Decision Class of 2018

i LITERALLY can’t

@ideabear Yay Whovians! Are you as excited as I am for the Christmas special?

@drummajor2014 what instrument did you march, prior to drum majoring?

somehow i’m suddenly not nervous anymore.

OF COURSE! If it wasn’t Christmas, I would invite my whovian friends to come watch it. We are planning to all watch the next season each week together.

As bad as it sounds though, I am excited for Matt to regenerate into Peter Capaldi… I think I was one of the few actually happy to have an older Doctor.

@madmaninabox I love your username as well. So excited for Christmas!

I play the tenors (quad drums). I actually was able to both play and be drum major this year since we have two drum majors. What do you play?

@ideabear I’m actually also very excited for Capaldi. I’m hoping it will become a little bit less focused on the Doctor’s love life. Still, I love Matt Smith. Favorite companion?

@drummajor2014 I was drum major this year, but before then I marched alto sax. I play marimba for indoor though, and probably would have done marimba for outdoor if I hadn’t been drum major. You thinking of doing marching band in college?

@madmaninabox Yes! I’m dying to be part of the Big Red Marching Band!

I also cannot wait for Peter Capaldi. I think he’s going to be fantastic. And he’s on my list of favourite British actors. I believe he’ll bring a new side to the Doctor that we haven’t been able to see with Matt.

I am a huge Rose Tyler fan, but my all time favorite is probably Donna. She was just hilarious! I’m with you on the love life thing-I want some humor and good adventures.

My friend doesn’t like Donna at all and I can’t understand why. She added so much character! I’m also a big fan of Martha Jones.

The whole Doctor/Companion dynamic is based around the companion being a capable but perhaps slightly stupid analogue for the audience. The Doctor can explain all of what’s going on to his companion so that the kids at home can understand it as well. Donna was definitely more adversarial than most of the other companions. She was pretty hard-headed and the fact that she was giving a 700 year old Timelord sass was where most of her humor came from. I get why people might find her irritating, because from the Doctor’s perspective she’s pretty much a consistent pain in the ***. I liked her a lot, but partially because I’d seen her in other TV shows before I went back and watched her seasons on Doctor Who.

This video makes me want to go to Cornell so bad!!!

God!!! the video is amazing, it is so beautiful, It totally makes you wanna go there
But can anyone tell me how much it snows in winter and how cold it could get?
One of the first lines got me a little scared…

i just ran the decision function on the console and go “Decision status :Not Available”

To hopefully make everyone a little less nervous, I suggest watching this video…

:)

I look outside my window right now and the salted sidewalks are covered in snow because it just snowed too much.

It’s a lot better than yesterday when the sidewalks literally had like 3 inches of snow on them.

Although I think there has been an unusually high amount of snow recently, based on the fact that even Texas got a lot of snow.

Im not gonna watch that video, its probably gonna make the rejection even harder :/

Darn, it never snows where I live. It’s not even cold, but I’m shivering really hard for some reason.

12 and a half hours left…The long wait is halfway through

We have…EXACTLY 12 HOURS LEFT!!! SOOO EXCITED!! :D

Can’t describe this feeling…mixture of excitement and anxiety…and it’s gonna last the next 12 hours!!!
