Accepted to AAP!

I put my enrollment deposit down :-)!!! The link works now!

Hey Blackstar - I don’t normally like to feed the trolls but I’ll bite because I am curious why you singled me out of all the other parents who posted in this thread.
First off 17 is not a grown woman.
Second - how is my posting controlling her life.

Lastly, care to explain why you posted in 11/2012 in a chance thread that your scores were 680 CR, 760 M and 700 W, then in the class of 2018 decision thread you said you were accepted with a 500 CR, 670 M and 590 W??

@Amlan
You get an email notification and by paper (snail mail)

Does anybody know the best process of withdrawing other applications?

wow that was quick! did everyone receive their acceptance letters with the financial aid information in the mail today? because i still havent received anything yet

@bright3014 I haven’t gotten mine either :-)

Does anyone know what it means if the financial aid portal under 2015 says “No financial aid information can be found”? Even if I’m not receiving need-based aid from Cornell, shouldn’t it still list the expected family contribution?

@PhysicsGal: oh OK thanks for replying
did you also not even get an email either?

The link works. But I haven’t received neither my official letter of acceptance nor the financial aid package. Don’t we pay the enrolment deposit AFTER we receive the official acceptance letter along with the fin aid package? Or do they send the official acceptance letter (and the fin. aid. package) ONLY AFTER we pay the enrolment deposit?

@neeraj99 : No,sir. I am from Bangladesh.

Does anyone know whether we need to send the mid year report or final report? If we need to do so, how good should these reports be?

Um guys…the link to the deposit isn’t working! Can someone help fellow COE here?!

Did you get your fin aid package? if so, when?

@AmlanSinha, I received my financial aid package yesterday in the early afternoon, so ~21 hours after the decisions were released. I haven’t submitted the enrollment deposit yet. Don’t worry, I’m sure it’s coming! The hard part of the application process is done, relax :)

@bro5596 If it’s not too personal, can you tell me how much aid you got and how much did you ask for? Did you get the full aid you asked for?

My family is in the ~$55,000/year income range. My parents are expected to contribute $4,000/year and I’m expected to contribute $3,000. There will be $2,500 in loans each year as it stands now. However, we are going to contact the financial aid office because my dad had a job change (and subsequently less income) in the time between sending the CSS profile and now. Best of luck.

samh1210, I have the same question. What is the process to withdraw from other colleges?

We were told to email the admissions dept. of our withdrawal so they have it in writing. They put it in the file.

any one accepted to SHM? What do you think the most important thing to get in? Statlerbound, did you have work experience in hotel?
