Rejected. Don’t really know how to feel…

Rejected. I feel rather indifferent about the decision, and somewhat surprised that the acceptance rate this year is four percent.

Hey tomraskin tell us about yourself and why u think you got in, i’m too nervous to check mine. My hands shake and my heart beats just thinking about it before I hear if i have a chance

Rejected. It stings; it really does sting.

Just got the courage to check and…Rejected… kinda surprised thought I had a really good app and would get in, but thats life.

Then again at a 4% acceptance rate that could have very well meant that there was only 1-5 people accepted into the specific program I applied for. O well, hopefully i get into brown if not i apply to cornell next time and if not then ill give up on ivy league

^My plan exactly. Only, I also applied to Cornell this year.

Waitlisted…:(

tsakashvili, are you going to remain on the list?

Yeah, why not?

waitlisted

Also waitlisted. Quite a few waitlistees! Doesn’t bode well for our chances…

Received an email on June 11 stating that the waitlist is closed.

For the purposes of next year:

Dear nvilla,

Since we sent decisions last month, the Admissions Committee has been closely tracking the number of students who plan to enroll at Dartmouth in the fall. At this point the College is fully subscribed.

I appreciate your patience as we have been monitoring the replies to our initial offers of admission over the past several weeks. It is clear now that we will not be able to offer you admission. Accordingly, we are closing your candidacy at this time.

Thank you for your continued interested in Dartmouth. I understand that you had hoped to receive more positive news from me. Our hope in notifying you now is that it will allow you to move forward with your plans to matriculate at another college or university.

Best wishes for the summer and your future educational endeavors.

Sincerely,

Maria Laskaris
Dean of Admissions
