Does anyone have any CR passage tips?

Don’t over think it

Try to not infer things that aren’t explicitly stated in the passage
The answers are basically rewording sentences from the passage, select the answer that rewards it most accurately

That’s all I got. You’ll do fine. Just pray for me during math lolol

@GranTurismo330 I recommend just reading the passage at your own pace. I usually read the passage by paragraph, and then look for the questions that correspond to that certain paragraph. I tend to underline and mark up sentences in the passage to help me focus. Taking notes in the margins may help as well. Don’t get too caught up in trying to understand some of those obscure science passages (like those about string theory, quantum physics, etc.); most of the time, the CB won’t even test you on your understanding of the topic at hand. And like what @Mystic7 said, the answer to the question is always be supported by the passage, so when you pick your answer, make sure that you can point to a specific sentence that makes that answer choice correct.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow! Going to look over some weird grammar rules and vocab, and then head to bed.

@Mystic7 Good tip! Also, good luck on math! Hopefully the curve isn’t as harsh as the November one (I got 1 wrong and a 750… ouch). Really really hoping I can hit 800 in math to compensate for probably not hitting above 700 in CR

Thanks @Mystic7 and @allista. I’ll definitely keep those in mind. Now that I think of it, I always get 4-6 wrong on CR total, and half of them are the ones I dwelled on…

And don’t worry too much about math @Mystic7, you’ll do fine. Just make sure, if you have time, to double check all answers to avoid careless errors.

Almost time for me to get some rest. See you guys on the other side!

Anybody have tips for improving sentences/paragraphs in the Writing section

Friendsss, I wish you all the best of luck!!! Hopefully, tomorrow will be the complete last time we face this test ever eveR evER eVER EVER again (that is, if you’re a senior.) Please Holy One help us all get the scores we want and get into the colleges of our dreams and let us all live a happy, peaceful life with an unlimited supply of cheetos.

Anyways, goooood night! :+)

Just remember that most schools, even if they look at all your scores, generally pay most attention to your highest scores (even if it’s across multiple test dates) so just stay calm and do your best!

Could someone please grade my essay in this forum please.

good luck! everyone tomorrow is our lucky day!

Hello People…which option do u think was correct in Dante Alegieri’s passage’s first question? Did the passage mean to show his genius or did it show his development towards becoming a writer? I wrote the genius option.

Good luck everyone! Eat a good breakfast and destroy that test!!!
