At this point, I’ve basically reached a level of acceptance: I’m getting whatever I’m getting, and stressing out/last-minute cramming isn’t going to help.

I just hope that our essay topic isn’t anything random or strange.

Guys I got 1500 on my october sat test, then i studied got 1730 on my november test… And i’m planning to take december one and right now my mock exam score is around 2030… Do you guys think cb will raise a red flag on my december score if I get score like 2030 and delay my score reporting ? Ha… …

@Kpansjsjsnsnsj Any score that is 300+ points higher than your previous attempt warrants a delayed score. So, if you don’t see your scores on the 23rd, that’ll most likely be a good sign for you. Good luck to ya!

my parents think I’m gonna magically get a perfect score this time. I can already feel the shame and disappointment xD

Only 2 days far… Getting ready for vocab

Omg @Mystic7 I feel ya! And have you been taking practice tests? How’s math? :-S

Math is going fine… if I just stay calm it’ll go okay I think. I’m not taking practice tests; I’m just practicing the math sections and reviewing a couple of grammar concepts. You’ll do great!!

Good luck everyone! If anyone is going into this test well prepared it’s us. I’m probably not going to discuss CR this time because I don’t want to psyche myself or anyone else out, but you guys can always PM me tomorrow afternoon if you want to know what answers I put. I’m on the east coast so I’ll be one of CB’s first casualties :-t

@Aliahamed You can talk about it right here once you finish it

Good luck, everyone! I’m taking this tomorrow. Really worried about CR because I didn’t do so hot on PSAT CR…

Are they going to give us the new redesigned SAT for tomorrow?

No, it’ll be the usual test! There might be some experimental section with that stuff (which does not count toward your score).

I’m hoping that the experimental section is obvious, so that I can get a good 15-30min. of mental relaxation.

Anyone doing any last evening preparation, and what are you doing?

@mizejonathan17 Is it absolutely true that experimental sections won’t count in the score?

@woandering yes, but theres no definite way to know which is which AFAIK

By the way, scores come out on December 23, so your Christmas may either be ruined or be great. At least this time the scores come out during break, so I can stay up all night refreshing the screen.

@Weeknd

Even if the section is a reading one with the new questions about finding the evidence from the passage? That’s not supposed to be on the SAT until 2016.

P.S I had one of those last time, but I didn’t want to risk my score. It seriously messed with me though, because I had never seen them before.

@Mystic7 Do you have any last minute passage-based reading tips?

Hey guys. I have a quick question. Should my graphing calculator be set in radians or degree mode for the SAT?

you’re never going to need to use trig functions using your calculator

Okay thanks! Best of luck!

I can bring my phone into testing with me, right? (if it’s in a bag under my desk)
