~Official dec SAT writing~

for the SAT, did you guys pick out a "it now is" error in the error ID? or was there no error in taht sentencE?

Oh wow! I remember that one - I said it was an error. I was 50/50 on that one.

What did you say?

Did anyone have the question regarding the guy wanting the Capitol to be "at the center" of Washington DC? I marked "at the center" wrong because I thought it should be "in the center." Not really sure.

Also for the scientists discovering something, I marked the "it" after the semicolon as wrong because I felt that it was ambiguous. Again, not sure.

ok i had the version of the test w/ shakespeare/fishing/african quilting passages: (my improve passage section was about making movies into novels)

i got 5 No Errors for identifying errors. (i only remember the bonsai one distinctly)
i got A for the "For all promises."

what other questions do you guys remember for this version?

I think I had the same test version as you, roburflash. Did you have two back-to-back 25 min CR sections after the essay, too?

i had same version as upper two guys!

yep i had 2 crs straight. anyways, do any of u guys remember Qs?

wait, the chess and novel/movie are in the same section? i totally forgot everything abt chess

no the chess is in the experimental CR section

okay, i kinda messed up my mere memories abt SAT. one more thing to say, i think writing part was pretty easy this time?

there is an question with answers :
A)...
B)In addition to ...
C)
D) Besides their promising
E) Althought there are promises by them

I think I put A also In their promises,... something like that. That one was hard.

That question, is it improving sentences, or identifying sentence errors?

i think i put A too

sorry for the double post, but it was improving sentenses

wut about the pyramids and how the breath creats humidity, was the error in the end "these structures"

It may be because the moment I walked out of the testing room, I began to forget everything that was on the SAT (I was soo happy that I was done with my LAST SAT everr!), but I don't remember anything about a "chess" passage. I'm positive I had an experimental CR section (2 25 min CR sections in a row), so maybe I DID have the chess passage but just completely forgot about it... can somebody tell me what the passage was about?

adzuki!

i had two CR sections in a row and didnt have chess passage neither. Did u have one about Petrarch

anyone remembers the answers for the improving the passages, which was about African travelogue? lets do a stats

I only remember that we have to delet one of the sentences for one of the questions

and did anyone get a question 29 with something like "it now is"? is that the error or was there no error

(post 58) I didn't choose: delete the sentence; I corrected something in it bu I can't remember what.
