If they do cancel the scores, it will also be unfair to those who dominated this without knowing anything about the Dec.2005 exam.

how would collegeboard know if they did or didnt

Yeah that's true. But either way, people are gonna be upset.

I did really well.. I was shooting for a 2300 over unlike the 2270 last time..
now.. if something happens...

umm yeah if they cancel, screw them cuz im a senior and its my last time and i think i did better than my previous two >.<

there not gonna cancel it cuz they knew they did it.... its not like it was a mistake

its just gonna make a lot of people angry

Collegeboard re-uses tests and questions all the time. The December 2005 was not a released test. The questions will appear about 2-3 times before they will "retire" the question. If you look over the CC board, you will see over the years that the tests are used again.

If it was not a released test, how did people get ahold of it as stated in another topic?

Something's fishy. Either that Asian academy is doing some illegal business or collegeboard is selling its tests privately.

even though they were NOT reused students who took the test got the QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS so it was actually released to students

Wait, what exactly does a "released test" mean? Does it mean it's accessible through Q & A or does it mean posted online? I thought it meant the first one.

Yes, Mintie, "Released" means that you can order a copy of the questions and answers. The question and answer service is only offered in October, January and May. ( Check the collegeboard website). Even if you took the test in December 2005, you could not get the answers. The Asian school that had the test must have saved an old copy from when they administered it back in December. ( Theorically, I guess anyone at a testing center could steal a copy of the test. They may not have the answers but could certainly figure them out).

hey guys, so sorry to be changing the topic of discussion slightly...is it possible to get an 800 on writing without getting a 12 on the essay? I don't think I missed any of the multiple choice questions, but I did not finish my essay (I only had a two or three words left). Also, what would -1 on math translate to?

Yes, it is possible. Getting a 10 with no errors on the MC could still be an 800, but it all depends on the curve. A -1 on the math depends, it could be as low as 770, but I don't think it can be an 800.

thanks so much, kchen! aahh the math curve is always so harsh...i ended up with a 236 on my psat because i missed one student-response math question which brought me down to a 760 in math. You'd think they would give some in-between scores...like 780 or 790..

Yeah, math is a harsh section. Congratulations on that 236. It's not a score that one can easily achieve on the PSAT.

Anyone know how many No Errors there were on the Dec writing section?

it was something like three or four. I think the exact number is listed somewhere on the jan. sat writing thread.

"Anyone know how many No Errors there were on the Dec writing section?"

I saw 4 in the 2nd section of the writing section.

i also put deft deft deft go deft!!!! hahaha
