lose electron is oxidized...the ngeative 1 means its wants to lose an electron, so it wants to be oxidized, meaning its a good reducing agent...so that questiong was F/F

halogens want to gain electrons, they have 7 electrons in their valence shell and wants to gain an electron to make 8, which makes it an oxidizing agent

**** u might be right, but when u gain electron gain more negativeness, and when u lose electron become positive, iono u remember any other T/F questions, what score is around missing 18 problems?

TWo other questions I just remembered:

One was like if you had an iron mesh and an iron block, the iron mesh would react faster because it had greater surface area, so I put T/T/CE for that one.

Another was a graph that showed the solubility of salt at 100 C (where 20 g dissolved) and again at 20 C, where (5 g dissolved). It then asked how much salt crystallized, and the answers were like

a)5 g
b) 10 g
c) 15 g
d) 20 g
e) 25 g

i got t/t/ce for that one, and 15 g for the solubility cause 20-5=15

agreed with the above two posts

cmon we need some more questions

How many do we have? 40?

for the rust one i put F/F iono y, i thought the reaction rate itself would be the same....right........plz help my desperate ass, i have 22 wrong so far fuuck

read the literature out there about reaction rates (i read in barrons). one of about 5 components that determines the rate of reaction is the surface area that is exposed to the "reaction" (gunpowder is more effective as...well, powder, for example)

I have like 20 wrong. Can I still get above a 700?

i am so there with u bro, can i get 700 flat with 22 wrong

This might help. http://powerpolitics.org/school/sat2-2005.pdf

BUMMMPPP anyone rememebr ****t?
wut score do u guyz think a raw score of 60 is, with the curve, is this curve gonna be larger since it was harder, iono.

sparknotes says 670 but they conflict with collegeboards book, which i dont have at the moment, so it might be anywhere from 10 to 40 points high

higher not high lol

haha hope so, daamn im so scared now about wut i got ccrap, ppl remember any more probs, T/F or any probs like the last 10

Shoot, I hope to get at least 700. Otherwise my chances for P-ton are screwed.

Bumpity bump.

it was so hard, i refuse to talk about it
