Yup, it basically asked for what it was: A declaration by the British for the creation of a Jewish homeland in the Palestinian area.

I'm pretty sure that it was before 1850 (rise of sanitation), but I agree that the answer choice was many deaths because of disease.

That's what I put.

yeah, Rak, you're right.

I'm happy to say that we now have more than 75% of the test compiled.

Thanks greatly to the effort of tamirms. :)

Rak, can you ask the town question on Library of Congress?

Only if I'd read through plenty of relevant scholarly material before and still couldn't find the answer.

In any case, by the time we got an answer we'd probably almost have our scores. ;)

What were the consequences of Nixon's talks with China?
Normalization of relations between the Chinese and US(I put this one)
Led to direct investment from US into China

I think there was a question about hellenism?
The answer, I think, was that it was a combination of Greek and presian/middle eastern culture.

Same answer here.

I think one question was about how Marx differed from the other socialists, answer being that he predicted that communisim would arise out of the expected destruction of capitalism.

yes, we got less than 20 now !

I agree with this one too.

I was thinking there were two choices about a supercontinent for Pangaea, but I really don't remember. BTW, thanks for compiling the great list, General Rak.

There was one question about the similarity between the Ming and another culture at the time, and I'm pretty sure the answer was that both had a monarchy and something else. It wasn't the question with the answer concerning merchants' social standing. There was definitely a question asking what the Balfour Declaration was (British document that favored establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine, of course). I think there was also a question asking what was characteristic of the Hellenistic Age, and the answer was something about the blending of cultures.

I'm hoping somebody else can fill in the blanks, since my memory is so spotty.

Edit: LOL this place is jumping. Everybody is beating me to it!

Yeah, but not quite. The answer choice was that he expected capitalism would ultimately self-destruct.
