If they're mailing the letters like they did for Early Action, expect the letter to be at your doorstep a few days AFTER they say. For EA, they were supposed to come Saturday, Dec. 15, but I didn't get mine until Tuesday.

Good Luck Everyone!

PS Don't worry if your envelope appears small, my acceptance letter was typical sized... But maybe a teeny bit thicker than an ordinary letter!

got mine today. waitlisted?!?! i wasn't gonna go there (too much $$ and i liked william and mary better) but what skanks. i'm gunna burn my sweatshirt and send it to them -- the charred remains of my dreams :****(

Waitlisted...Georgetown's my DREAAAAAM school so I really hope to get in :)
2110 SAT
3.86 GPA
NY, incredibly competitive public school, 5 APs this year

oh, stats:
2260 (1500), 4.02 on my school's scale (converts to upwards of a 4.6 on a weighted 5.0 scale), 770/760/660 SATIIs, 4 5's on APs, ECs weren't my strong suit but they were still good, essays were good. oh well.

S rejected. (Already in at preferred schools, so not a big deal, although somewhat surprised.)
SAT 2310, SATIIs 780/760/730, 8 APs total (3 5s so far), GPA about 94 UW, great recs, NMF, state/national language awards, etc. Maybe the philosophical essay taking a negative view of religion wasn't a good idea for G-town. :)

i applied EA to the foreign service school and got deferred, and i was just waitlisted.. some people had a question about whether gtown only rejects/admits deferees, and the answer is not necessarily =/
