<p>4 of my friends from school got in and maybe more I haven't talked to everyone who applied. One of my friends got rejected he applied to wharton.</p>

<p>This really kills me. I thought that I had a good shot at Penn, and it was my #2 school. The day brought equally good news with rejections at Harvard and Brown, and a rejection from Georgetown on Monday. Awaiting my Princeton rejection either today or tomorrow. I now have to choose between my 6th and 7th choices, Boston College and Villanova... :(</p>

<p>Oh, and by the way, I HATE how admissions is controlled by factors that I can't control, such as my ethnicity, location, upbringing, the school I attened, etc. Everything was stacked against me and I could do nothing about it. Anyone else feel the same way?</p>

<p>I was a tad disappointed at the time, but getting into Princeton made me feel a whole lot better and reminded me how fickle the ivies can be and how everyone ends up happy in the end anyway.</p>
