I think it's different for an EA school, since not everyone who gets accepted will matriculate. (Although I definitely would!)

Ahh Kebree that must be soooo frustrating. I would honestly be harassing the post office at this point.

haha, bebere---I've thought of it, yes. :)

I'm sure that whatever group of people gets in EA will take it upon themselves to create the Yale Class of 2009 thread.

We're crossing our fingers and toes for all of you guys :)

Thanks, bebere =)
Will do the same for you in a few days....

PSedrishMD is setting up a one-word-only thread on the Harvard board. It seems like a great idea to summarize all the decision threads, so one can easily cut through all the clutter.

I don't care how much it costs; if I get in, I will be a member of the Yale Class of 2009.

Oh, and by the way, make the thread Wednesday afternoon (before 5 PM) so it won't be buried or cluttered with a lot of very UNofficial predictions (other boards had that problem).

let me just stress this again....

I just LOOOOOOOOOOVE how Yale's decisions come out last. Just LOVE it.

sense the sarcasm

REMEMBER, the Ivy League is saving the best for last. They are just holding to the old adage. :)

Think of it as character-building. (Wow, I'm even gagging myself - I can't imagine how I'll hold out the next few days...)

you could help me study! :)

Haha, I have a big presentation to make and a few tests to study for, let alone homework... I can't concentrate on those, though.

Maybe you should help me study. Do you care for physics? Human ecology? :)

Could we not keep a running tab of who was rejected? Numbers are okay, but names are a bit too much. If I end up one of the rejected ones, I don't want to see my sn under a big red REJECTED every time someone updates the list.

I can see your point, but (as someone on the Princeton thread mentioned) we're posting on a public forum. If you're adamant about not having your name listed as "rejected" (assuming it happens, which - well, let's think optimistically), then don't post anything at all. Just fade into obscurity (or get a new sn).

I don't mind sharing if I am rejected, but it just seems kinda insensitive (especially with the rejected being in big red letters) and may discourage people from posting. Just my personal thoughts. I'll have enough emotions to deal with if I am rejected, and the format of a CC board won't be so important then.

i keep anything personal about myself hushed, so that i won't be embarassed to come back and post "rejected" if the time calls for it. stats are still my own business.

the bad thing, is that i have to do my other college apps in a day, and prepare an oral presentation.... when all i'm really capable of is obsessing over yale.
i can't stop thinking about wednesday.

i "lied" to everyone and told them i'll know by thurs night.
that way, no one will pounce on me when i walk into school the day after d-day.

I'm now wishing that I didn't tell people I was applying early. Everyone wants me to call, but I may be in no mood to do so. I've been telling people, including my dad, that I find out on Dec 16th at the latest, so I've got one day to work through my emotions before I have to tell.

As much as I hate waiting, I'm starting to be kind of grateful that Yale releases its decisions last. After seeing the outcomes from the other schools (especially amongst my friends), I'm ten times more realistic. I think that it has even numbed me a bit...

3 days, 7 hours

Good luck, guys.

Let's try really, really hard to stay organized with those set "official" boards. It's so hard to follow the princeton boards.

I sure hope you guys are all right about the 15th date. S got an e-mail last week, once again saying the 16th. It's going to be horrific if we have to wait an extra day!!!
