Alright someone was asking for this in another thread, so I just decided to post it.

It really is helpful for prospective students to see the decisions that will begin to roll in. It really does help, so please post.

Good Luck to everyone

Copy and paste the following into the reply. Then fill in the answers. First decision, then SAT scores, etc.
Remove the spaces inside the brackets to make it work...

lets make it a little more easier to read by making ACCEPTED green, REJECTED red, and WAITLIST yellow. Do this by by putting Red, Yellow, or Green in where the word "Red" is right now in the first line.

Essays: Not So Good...I think I came off a bit arrogant although that's not me at all. My RD essays are absolutely amazing though, I won UMICH's 'best essay scholarship' with one of them which is impressive considering there are 20k applicants. Very good sign as I enter RD decisions.

Teacher Recs: T1: Best Student in 30 years, I planned her AP curriculum

Counselor Rec: Who knows? She likes me because I'm a good student and respectful, but she is extremely inexperienced in elite colleges. We haven't sent anyone in maybe 20 years to a top 10 school.

[] ACT:34
[] GPA:4.0/4.0 UW

[] Teacher Recs:I assume it was very good, haven't seen it myself but I did very well in physics and chemistry with him last year and am his chemistry TA this year.
[] Counselor Rec: Decent, we don't get along very well, but I don't think he would try to sabotage my chances
[] Hook (if any):Regional diversity, I don't know if that matters, but I don't think anyone has gone to Notre Dame from the area since my brother, who graduated in 2001.
[/ul]Location/Person:[ul]
[] State or Country:Minnesota
[] School Type:Small rural public school.
[] Ethnicity:Caucasian

[] why you think you were accepted/rejected/defered: I think my stats were probably the most likely reason for acceptance.
[] going to attend? Depends on a lot of factors, like financial aid and visit experiences. The only other school I have really liked and applied to so far is St. Olaf College and I don't know if I'll apply to any others now. They are very different schools, so I guess I need to figure out where I will fit best.
[/ul]Other Factors:[ul]
[] This year I am commuting 60 miles each way three times a week to take classes at a local university through the PSEO program so that probably looks good.
[] Lots of music involvement-concert band, pep band, pit orchestra, city band, honor band.
[] I was also named a Notre Dame Scholar.
