*Official EA Thread Class of 2016*

EL Kyes, that could be possible, unless decisions are really coming out early…
O___o

Excited!!!

The application status check is still active, so I doubt it. If the check gets disabled at midnight (or noon tomorrow) then it will be sometime tomorrow. If not, keep waiting patiently.

Do you guys think it’ll be easier to get into Northeastern this year compared to last year?

Do you guys think its possible for decision to come out this thursday not next thursday?
Im about tomhave a heart attack

Dogod11 what do you mean by the application status check is still active? I do not see anything like that on my www5.student-1 page.

no i think it wont be until at least 12/15

Do you guys think it’ll be easier to get into Northeastern this year compared to last year? Second time I’m asking this.

@Krnnyboi: Thats like asking how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop…

The past few years, decisions have started releasing on the same Thursday, which falls on the 15th this year, so I’m guessing that’s when Mass. applicants will start getting their decisions.

Last year, midnight one night the application status page gave an error. The next day at 3 PM, NEU started releasing decisions.
The fact that we can still access it means that decisions don’t come out tonight. If it becomes dead tonight, we can infer that decisions will start being released at 3 PM tomorrow. If not, we have to wait (at least) another day.
Since it’s come out on a Thursday every year, I’d say if the page doesn’t start giving the error tonight, we have to wait until next Thursday.

It’ll be next Thursday at the earliest. The number of early applicants has gone up 14%, so it obviously won’t take them any less time.

Agree. Has been 3rd thursday last few years; which would be the 15th this year. More apps won’t make decisions earlier this year.

They may be athletes as many recruits have started signing as early as a week or so ago! Btw, I’m a Sophomore if anyone has any questions for an NU student

Technically whoever goes to NEU next year is going to be class of 2017 because you have to do a year of co-ops. Most people go there for 5 years. Just saying.

You dont have to do co-op.

but more than 95% do. It was just a observation.

but to prospective applicants, it seems like it’s a requirement and may be a turn-off. I’m not trying to dispute with you, i’d just like to clarify for all the applicants and future applicants.

FYI… it is also possible to do 1 coop and graduate in 4 years!

That’s what I was getting at ^^

I was talking with a student guide on a tour and he said many people do 2 co-ops (or 1) in between semesters in the summer to graduate in 4 years. Or, they do co-ops during semesters and take classes in the summer.
